justin king, receiver for lca was the best athlete on the field,he caught two passes for touchdowns and intercepted one for a td,besides big plays on d.lex c had a smallyet hard hitting/playing team, they impressed me with not a large squad.

It is sad to set back and watch the demise of one of the best football program in the history of ky. At one time corbin had 9 or 10 athletes (football) on didison 1 scholarship. At onetime they were the pride of the mountains . They played and beat the no 1 team in tennessee oak ridge the number 1 team in ohio roger bacon- the number 1 ranked team in kentucky louisville manuel the great tradition and the gost of the great athlets can carry you only so far. The great athletes are still there beleive me they just didn't stop with archie powers. Give those kids a chance. It is so bad that when you go to a mountain town and start a football conversation no longer do they hate the red hounds

I'm hearing that a few more kids are going to quit, not sure if they will actually do it, but it's on their mind.
Corbin should have won this game, too many dumb penalties, mistakes and missed assignments.

Corbin won playing power football. Times have changed. Football has changed. LCA has a modern offense and used it well. Cobin, it appears to me, has gone to a new offense that could be its ticket to becoming relevant again. But that will take time.
And kids quitting after a loss is certainly not the answer. Do that and you, the quitter, are the loser. You are not proving a point nor are you hurting the team near as much as you are hurting yourself. I don't claim to know the details. I'm a KC guy. But I heard the Corbin fans giving that coach hell for how many carries his sons got. That was silly to me since 7 was one of the fastest kids on the field. Why would he not?
Real winners endure and overcome adversity. If Corbin fans, parents, and players don't rally behind this team and encourage them to pour their talent out on the field regardless of wins or losses then they will have missed a real opportunity to see why football is the greatest game on earth for helping self centered egotistical young men see the bigger picture. They don't always - but this game will give them that shot - if they will take it.

corbin had the numbers3 to 1 on lca.imo teams in the 1a to 3a that have that kind of advantage on their opponents should rotate lines and secondaries every other play.ive watched them set kids who can contribute and grow while they "beat the rented mule"so to speak out of their starters.i know the rule of thumb is keep your playmakers out there but they could have made some playmakers last night and worn down a smaller school.just a thought up for debate and im not a redhound fan, just stayed for the second game.

You makes some good points aned #7 is running the ball very well and is earning his carries, but there are lots of internal problems with the team. The situation is getting to the critical point and the the program could implode if some leaders don't step up. Expect some news coming out soon about the status of several players for the game next week.

Corbin will be alright. Just give them time.

Corbin will be fine, this game could have went either way. The rugby type punter caused LCA trouble all night and made big plays for the hounds.
