I agree - the Knox Central JCC game is the big game of the night. Appalachian Bowl officials were asked by JCC if they could play game two, so their fans had time to get off work and come to the game. WYMT Picks the game to be televised live. They could have just as easily chose game two as the live game. I think the game will be streamed online and replayed live on saturday. Besides if your that hard core of a fan wouldn't you want to come cheer your team on in person, so much more fun than watching it on TV.

Does anybody else remember 2010, when JC played KC live on WYMT???

The game went into OT... JC 29 - KC 28.
And if my memory serves me right, KC was either going for a TD or needed a 1st down, and JC's defense stopped them. It was a great game.

actually went for the win on a 2pt conversion and they were stuffed. KC had kicking problems all night so they went for it

JCHS ground game is to much, but their defense needs to step it up a notch. I think they will in this one.

Funny. I was asking that same question myself.

I guess everybody in Clay County. I suppose they didn't have to sweet talk WYMT into putting their home team Perry Central on TV, either.

Hopefully this will be the last year JC plays in the bowl. I love getting to play against Knox Central.... It's a tough game against a Top 10 team in 4A.

You'd think WYMT, or whoever is in charge would put JC vs. KC on tv. Two Top 10 teams in 4A playing this early in season.... This game should be televised over PCC vs. Clay Co. This is the 2nd year in a row JC hasn't been shown live in this bowl.
