Russell Co went full JV in the second half while Adair's starters stayed in the entire game and it was 14-14 in the second half. That's rough.

I'm not sure what Adair's coach was thinking. I kept wondering if he was going to pull them to keep someone from getting hurt on a meaningless play. Down 52-0 at half with a playoff game next week means it's time to accept the loss for what it is.

Nick Britt had 7 Carries for 129 Yards & 4-TDs.

Had to listen to this one from a hospital bed. Very proud of my Lakers! Appreciate the shout out on the radio! I absolutely love everyone of the players, coaches, parents and fans that make up the LakerNation. I will be back out there cheering next week!

We missed you tonight PreacherVol. Great celebration of a perfect regular season after the game but you didn't miss much as far as the game went. This was probably the most dominating one sided game I have ever witnessed.

It was certainly one-sided, and from what I had been hearing, Adair Co thought they could play with the Lakers. I guess that mindset changed with the 2nd quarter running clock.

Hopefully the boys can put this win and a 10-0 regular season behind them and focus on the new season. We are now 0-0 with a Marion Co squad coming to town with absolutely nothing to loose. Those 10 wins mean nothing at this point...all that matters is Marion Co. No other team, no other game exists this week.

One wrung at a time!

Russell County has had a great season. They seem to add believers every week. They are very good without Britt but he makes this a special team. Having a play maker who can score at anytime from anywhere makes teams hard to defend.
