Bewn wallace is to sign with the Bull so what does every think this will do to my Pistons, and will he help bring the Bulls back to there prime.
Here is a story about it: http://www.nba.com/news/305650.html
Report: Ben Wallace to Sign With Bulls
"Ben Wallace has been the face of the Detroit Pistons the last five years. No more," writes Chad Ford of ESPN INSIDER. "A league source told ESPN.com Monday night that Wallace has told the Pistons he has accepted an offer from the Chicago Bulls. While exact details are unavailable, the offer is thought to be a four-year, $52 million dollar deal. A deal can't become official until July 12, when the salary cap is set for the 2006-07 season and exact contract values can be computed."

well for one if the pistons let him go thats their fault and IF he wants to leave hes an idiot, just bc they didnt win the championship this year they still have the best all around team in the league so I think its messed up

The Pistons just wanted to sign him for a 2yr 12 million dollar contract. And the Bulls wanted to sign him to a much larger amount of to a 4yr 52 million dollar contract ! Its the Pistons fault IMO, He wanted to stay except he chose the money !

This is big news Ben Wallace was the heart and soul of the pistons with this loss they have just been bumped down in the east i think heres how things rank with big ben going to the CHI-town
1) Maimi - will be the best team in the east next year and will dominate in the playoffs like they did last year
2) New Jersey - have their three best players coming back next year they will have another great season
3) Chicago - Have a great set of guards and picked up Thomas from LSU and now big ben
4) Pistons - Losing big ben was huge their team will probably fall apart next season if Dumars was smart he would get rid of Flip and see if Larry Brown will come back

Good defensive player, but average in all other parts of his game. He fit it in Detroit and is going to a team where he will have to carry more of a load as far as scoring, bad move IMO, but he wanted the money I suppose.

I heard this on ESPN. The reason Ben is leaving Detroit is a difference of 4 million dollars. The Pistons offered him 4 Years at 48 million and the Bulls offered 4 Years at 52 million. So right there you can see how important money is to some people. They will risk not being a very big part of their teams game just to make some more money, because he will not be a great fit in Chicago, he is a defensive player and the Bulls like to run up and down the court, now don't get me wrong, Ben can run faster than any Center in the League right now, but the Bulls guards are a lot faster, and Tyrus Thomas being there doesn't help Big Ben at all.

If 4 mil is the difference, hope Chi-Town will make him as happy and will love him and admire him as much as Detroit. Money can't buy happiness..OR CAN IT?

Big Ben was a hit in Detroit. I don't see him being half as happy with Chicago as he was with Detroit. I hate to see him go, but surely the Pistons coulda spared 4 million to keep him with the team. It's not like they are close to their salary cap with the "non-superstars" they have.

They should have kept him if possible.

4 million doesn't really seem like a lot when compared to 54 and 48 million. but it's still 4 more million which is more than any of us will probably ever make.. most players in the nba are there for the money anyway.. and they are playing a game for a job.. they suck.. lol.. personally i would like to see what would happen if they put a cap on all te players salary to like 100,000 a year and see what would happen then..
I'm in love with Tawnya.. hehe..
