Not sure about LexCath or Anderson, but Bourbon has a better squad than Boyle this year. I have seen both multiple times in person.

Really? Better than both Lex Cath and Boyle Co? Ok well you might just see that in a couple of years when and if Lex Cath and or Boyle Co. merge in your district due to decline enrollment. Next realigment/ classification in 2016. Lex Cath and Boyle Co. will dominate that district. I hate it when people just talk but has no backing to prove their comment. It is your opinion that Bourbon is better, but why? Cause you have a better record? Cause we can say, you have played a CUPCAKE schedule to get those wins. You think Bourbon can put up 30pts vs Saint X or 21pts vs Bowling Green? How about playing an athletic team and beat them like Bryan Station? NAH I don't think so. So form your opinion but back it up. Thanks.

Bourbon will move to 4a in 2016. If reclassification was today they would be 4a.
Besides the guy said this year, not in 2016.
I think the statement is a little bold, but I think a healthy Bourbon would give Boyle and Catholic all they want this year.
My Reasoning? I've seen Boyle play and Boyle beat Catholic. That good enough?

First of all he was mentioned being better and beating both Boyle Co AND Lex Cath, not just Lex Cath. Yeah and if you saw the game BC vs LC, them sure you enough to say that. Lex Cath did fizzled in the red zone 3 of 4 times and lost by 9pts (?). And if thats the only game you saw then you missed out on the others. Even though they lost to St. X and BG, they put up points, in fact was in reach of upseting St.X but just ran of rotating healty bodies. Can you say that about Bourbon playing St. X, BG, Bryan Station? How about putting up points against Boyle Co? I seriously doubt that. For now stick to your Bath, Estill, Powell, Western Hills, Garrard Co. When you get a schedule like Boyle Co and Lex Cath in recent years and beat those upper tier team, then perhaps...

I'm not sure you are understanding me so I will use caps ..... THE GUY SAID THIS YEAR, NOT A COUPLE OF YEARS FROM NOW, NOT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, THIS YEAR.
All I am saying is that I believe Bourbon would play with Boyle, and because of that I believe they would play with Catholic.
On a side note, Bowling Green was up 42-7 in the 3rd quarter, I am guessing the 14 point 3rd was most likely LCs 1st string vs. Bowling Greens JV...

Nah, After LC returned a punt for TD vs BG's first punt team... BG brought back their 1st defense to prevent them from scoring again. Which they did one more time BTW. Yeah I was there, It was a church trip. I have no dog in the fight, just a Catholic dude. Oh and yeah, No to this year on upseting Boyle or Lex Cath. Not with that saucey schedule Colonels had.

Bourbon County is doing what they are suppose to do and thats all anyone can ask. They are a solid team as mentioned before but they are a bit of a mistery because of the horrific schedule they have played. I don't believe Boyle County and LC would blow Bourbon County off the map but I do believe LC and Boyle would beat Bourbon by a couple of scores. Either way, this is fantasy land. This game is not going to happen so why bring it up? Again, Bourbon County is doing what they are suppose to. Be happy with that.

I only wrote it up cause some dude about actually said they would beat Boyle Co. I am sorry, I thought he called out LC as well. In fact he mentioned " Not sure about LC or Anderson Co, but Bourbon can beat Boyle Co "... I laugh sooooo hard brother:biglmao:

Bourbon County would not beat Boyle County and you can take that to the bank. Called me biased, call me whatever you want but no one will convince me of that.

I mean no offense to the players and staff at Boyle. They do an awesome job. And I am not a Bourbon county guy.. All I am suggesting is that Bourbon county has the team speed to beat a young Boyle county team this year. Like I said, I dont know much about LexCath or Anderson
10-30-2013, 02:29 PM
And, FBfan4Life, I never said anything about Bourbon playing St X or BG, nor did I even mention LexCath other than to say I know little about them. Understand what you read before you accuse me of saying things I didnt. I just think from seeing Boyle and Bourbon in person a couple times each that Bourbon has too much speed as a team for this year's Rebels

BG put in their jv for 3 plays on offense only. When catholic ran the punt back for a TD to make the score 42-21 with over 8 mins left in the game their coach did the right thing in putting his 1st team offense back in. Catholic did not play against BG's jv defense. Heck the score was 14-7 just under a minute to play in first half until they scored with 38 secs to play. Reguardless, BG is definitely on a different level.

Good Lord if I had a nickel for every time in the last 20 years I've heard that Boyle can't handle a teams speed I would be a rich rich man. I'm gonna share a little Boyle County secret so everybody pay attention. If you want to move the ball on Boyle you throw deep passes (everybody actually knows that one) or you run the ball BETWEEN THE TACKLES. Everybody sees mostly white, average athleticism county ball players and they think they are going to break long runs to the outside. I've watched it and watched and watched it. With exceptions of course (Danville game last year) your best bet is up the middle. Sorry I don't know why I went so long with this just always loved how the slow Rebels can't beat speedy teams.

Dalton Pope at Bourbon is able to throw the deep ball and Holman can run between tackles with the bigger and improved offensive line...

JVB I recanted my statement. Not sure if you saw that. I took my words. You only mentioned that Bourbon will beat Boyle Co. and Not Lex Cath or Anderson. I saw that and recanted my post.

I believe if there was staff that knew how to beat Boyle Co. it would be Bourbons
. If Bourbon is up on Clark at half WATCH OUT!

I dont think its a crazy notion that Bourbon can play with Boyle. I just simply think that, after seeing both teams mmultiple times this season, Bourbon has the players that could pull off that win. No disrespect to any of the players or coaches at Boyle.
FBFan4Life: I did see that, sorry
