and for whoever stated this Raceland team was the same as last years...we had 138 yards of total offense last year at Ashland. 100 by air and 38 on the ground. We went for 394 yards and 14 more points this year. Our soph QB went for 200 yds and 2tds and we went for 194 on the ground. to say our offense is what it was last year is insane.

To All Raceland parents of middle school kids, if your child wants a easy way to get on the field on Friday nights as a freshman learn how to kick. Put in the work go get lessons you can get playing time

Read the post Scotty. It is a comparison as to where the teams were last year coming into the game and is much more about West Carter than Raceland. No stats other than records were referenced. I think Raceland is much better offensively than last year and Adkins isn't even playing yet.

That would be an inaccurate statement. Offense is solidly better.

correct. read it in the greenup thread, phone died, and i got back on and posted it on here. my bad fellers. in any event, Racelanda front 7 was my biggest concern and more than held our own against Ashland. In was more concerned w that side of the ball coming into this year. baring injury, we are goina be significantly better this year imo. now, saying that doesnt mean i think we r goina be a lock to rep the east bc Paintsville has a very solid defense and alot of atheletes and Pikeville just put a running clock on a solid LCA squad and Hazard is always a contender. Bit as for this game, the Rams have too much upfront for the comets.

LCA is not a solid 2A team. They lost a lot to graduation and recruitment, crap! I meant movement. 😳 LCA may right the ship but itâll be later in the year or next year.

just saw that in another site that they lost the house to graduation and Fredrick Douglas.

I'm thinking about making the trip to Raceland to see this one in person. Where is the best place to eat, sit, etc?
08-30-2018, 10:48 PM
There are lots of places to eat in Ashland which is ten minutes down 23! Most of us on here stand around the track!
08-30-2018, 11:30 PM
Raceland 49-14
