Bracken Co. 2019 Schedule
#1
It's time for the Head Honcho to release his 2019 Polar Bear Predictions!

Aug 23 vs. Landmark Christian (OH)
Aug 30 vs. Ludlow
Sep 6 vs. Pendleton County
Sep 13 at Newport
Sep 20 at Jackson County
Sep 27 at Dayton
Oct 4 vs. Paris (District Game)
Oct 11 vs. Bishop Brossart (District Game)
Oct 18 at Clinton County
Oct 25 at Nicholas County (District Game)

Landmark: This group of homeschooled city boys won't know what hit them. From the opening kick, they'll be crying for their collective moms/teacher once the Carver way starts the chainsaw of pain! Who coaches this team? A bunch of the dads? The good news is, they've all got dates to Homecoming regardless because little sis has to go too.

Ludlow: Carver will make quick work of these Panthers. They should drive the bus down route 8 to get to the game, it will be smoother than the beating the Polar Bears and Coach Carver will administer during the game. The river of Ludlow will be overflowing with the tears of these boys as they drain the bus from all their tears and that long ride up route 8.

Pendleton County: Everything Pendleton County knows about football, it learned from the Chainsaw, Coach Carver. He built that program from the ground up, their only respectable seasons came under his leadership. Not since Phillip A Sharp won his Nobel Prize has someone as good as Carver come through Pendleton County. Unless they can somehow miraculously find a 5th year of eligibility for Dontaie Allen convince him football is his sport, clone him 10 more times, would they stand a chance. will the Wildcats even prevent a running clock? Would Ricky Bobby let Cal Norton Jr win? The answer to both is: No.

Newport: The Wildcats of Newport will fare much like their river neighbors to the west and their namesakes to the south. They may have a D1 caliber at QB, and they may be more athletic at every position, but they don't have a chainsaw on the sidelines or the Bracken county mentality. By this point in the season, I'll be surprised if the Polar Bears have allowed a point, but Newport may score once or twice if Carver calls off the dogs and puts in the freshmen.

Jackson County: When the famous late game fog rolls into McKee the Generals fans will be grateful, that will just make it that much harder for them to see the absolute massacre happening on the field. General Custer's last stand will look like a victory compared to the running clock the Polar Bears will put on Jackson County.

Dayton: Green Devils? See other river schools above. Not tough enough. Not fast enough. New, young coach up there ought to bring a few notepads to this game. Because when Carver is done dissecting his team, he will realize he doesn't know anything about football.

Paris: Blanton Collier stadium will be getting a new sign on Oct 4. Tim Carver stadium doesn't have the history that BC does, but after the Panthers beg for mercy, it'll be the only possible outcome. Carver has been in Paris before, and he won't be taking it easy on the Greyhounds this time either. First District win, and not the last.

Bishop Brossart: The world will never know what happened when Brossart hired Carver and then unceremoniously lost him after trying to start a program. But mark the words of the head honcho: They will rue the day it happened. Mary, St. Peter and St. Paul (didn't they write a song about a dragon?) will have to cover their eyes because they won't be able to look down on the Mustang Mutilation at the hands of Coach Carver. District win #2. D51A looking firmly in hand at this point.

Clinton County: They may have to appoint Kenneth Starr as independent counsel to come and investigate what happens to Clinton County after the Polar Bears are done. The bad news for these Clintons is: they won't have nearly the pleasure the subject of the first Starr Report had, and it'll be even more punishment. This time, not from the Senate, but from Tim Carver after he takes the Polar Bear team across the Eastern Time Zone and runs the score up. It'll be an epic showdown for sure.

Nicholas County: There is nothing the Honcho needs to say. The Bluejackets and their old school head coach may very well forfeit this game when they see what the Chainsaw can do. The Polar Bear undefeated dream season concludes in Carlisle, and a police escort all the way home to celebrate.
