In the case of Johnson Central, it is because Paintsville is celebrating the annual Apple Festival this weekend. Town is basically shut down on Friday until Sunday.

Like Bob said, it’s the Apple Festival this weekend in Paintsville. But I’ve always noticed there are a bunch of Thursday games this same weekend every year.
