You want to know something that will completely blow your mind? The same couple that wrote ‘Love Hurts’ by Nazareth, also wrote ‘Rocky Top’. Yes, that Rocky Top. Look it up.

Baby, I see this world has made you sad
Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say
But baby, I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
And turn your blue skies into gray
Why worry
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now
Why worry now
Baby, when I get down I turn to you
And you make sense of what I do
And though it isn't hard to say
But baby, just when this world seems mean and cold
Our love comes shining red and gold
And all the rest is by the way
Why worry
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now
Why worry now

We've all felt the panging for love that tugs at our heartstrings but remains, to our emotional detriment, just out of reach.
Unrequited love brings only pain and sadness. Is that kind of love really better than no love at all? Ever loved someone with your whole being but felt the pain of it not being reciprocated?

What a great song.
Thing about getting a little older is you realize women can dump you out of the blue in a heartbeat and be ice cold about it. You just have to learn this once then you have power over women the rest of your life lol. Unfortunately the person who cares the least always has the upper hand in a relationship. It's fine to love a woman more than anything but you better not make it obvious you care more than she does or you are toast. Just a fact, I don't make the rules.

And by a little older I mean you better learn this in your 20s or you will be a basket case for life.
