Prestonsburg, Shelby Valley or Pike Central are okay places to have the tourny.. parking is okay and they're not too far out of the way for other schools

Shelby Valley is like 10 -15 minutes away from where I live...Presontsburg is great because of the layout of the gym...it can hold alot of people...I haven't been in Pike Centrals gym in 2 years so I dont really remember how it is laid out...but it'd be a okay place...

Everyone burns up and gets sick at the local gyms just becase we have to stand so close to one another, scream so loud, and have no air conditioning at the top level of the gym where the air is the hottest so I mean I am ALL for it.This is what makes the game so much fun Tribe :coach: <---me......

I too enjoy the atmosphere at games but burning up and getting to the point of almost passing out is a little much.
Shelby Valley doesn't have enough parking I think and if you don't get there ALOT earlier you have to park in the mud beside of the school. East Ridge has pretty good parking, some of it is located away from the gym but you don't have to park in mud, Pikeville's gym is WAY too hot, Prestonsburg's gym wasn't pretty packed, East Ridge hosted the tourney the first year of being opened and it was PACKED!
I would love to see it held in the new center just to see how many people would turn up and how good the facility looked.

East Ridge is too far away for it to be good...lol...Same with Belfry...it takes forever to get to those two schools! I love the atmosphere of the tournaments but it does get too hott in there... I got sick when I went last year and it was horrible! I'm defintally going to districts this year... if I'm not mistaking isn't it suppose ot be at Prestonsburg this year?

I've heard some stuff about the college hosting their big conference games at the civic center (i.e. Georgetown, Univ. of the Cumberlands, and Lindsey Wilson). Also, that alcohol will be sold at those events, but I'm not completely sure. I have heard the rumors about the 15th region tourney being there but the definate tourney is the 2006 MSC conference tournament. I will be attending the concert on Nov. 6 along with the Monster Truck show later this month.
