Ron Artest Suspended for Game 3 Against Dallas

Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers has been suspended one game without pay for swinging his arm and striking the face of the Dallas Mavericksâ J.J. Barea, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations. Artestâs contact has also been classified by the NBA as a Flagrant Foul Two.

Lakers are in SERIOUS trouble now. With Artest gone, it makes a 5 man rotation, meaning....no bench!

Well he was a big part in beating the two time defending champions, so he's not that bad, lol.

He only had like 10 pts and like 4 Asst I believe if I'm not mistaken. He's a good penatrator but he needs to learn to pass the ball more and not be so wild with it

Well, I'm not a fan of the Lakers (Duh, right Smile

) But I don't think that ron should be suspended. What he did was wrong, maybe even warranted a fine, but not a suspension.
