Final from Davis Park
Jake Burke goes the distance allowing three hits and 1 ER.
Panthers looked a lot better at the plate today. The defensive practice idea proved to be a good one. PHS pounded out 8 hits, 5-6 which were shots. However, the Knott County pitching was average.
JP Coleman led the Panthers from the lead off spot reaching base all 4 times with a triple and HR (Inside the Park) and 2 Walks.
Jacob Hamilton added a single and triple with a couple of lasers.
PHS improves to 5-1 and will return to action Monday at Shelby Valley as they take on South Floyd in the first round of the 15th Region All "A" Tournament.

Sounds like Pikeville has a squad this year. Haven't seen them play yet.

Any idea who pitched for Knott? How was their hitting? Pikeville is a solid baseball team and playing really good baseball right now.
