Tigers pic up a Big District win tonight against Lawrence Co.

The need to learn how to shut the door though when they have the chance.

Games 2 and 3 will be played tomorrow night. Due to possible rain Sat.

!st game starts at 5:30 PM!

Let's go get two more young Tigers!

5th loss in a row for Lawrence Co. Got to get it together or this season is going to get away.

The "Wanna Factor" may have hit full force in the Dawg Pound. They may just simply not wanna win or even care. No emotion coming on the field or out of the dougout. It can be a killer.Observe the players.

Just goes to show how tightly contested this district is. I think the district tournament is going to be a dandy.

Charlie I agree. The "wanna win factor" should be sky high for these district matches. You can't start feeling sorry for yourself before you play the game. The dawgs need to take a long look inside and find that fire that helps you win these games. Maybe the long summer, fall, and winter of baseball is catching up with us here in the spring. No emotion could be burnout.

burnout? if they burn out like you say it isn't from working and getting better during the summer and fall. good teams work hard. if they are truly burned out, then they are not fighters or competitors. no matter how long they are on the field throughout the year. that is a horrible excuse to use. if you are an athlete who is playing for a very good program in eastern kentucky and you are burned out. then you were better off not playing at all. i have watched a handful of lchs games this year. what i see is not burn out. its something that is inside each player.

My thoughts are that the final two games in this series tonight, will mark the end or beginning for the 2012 Dawg Baseball season. They are most definitely in a slump and how they come out after these two will probably define the season. It will be easy to tell when the first set of cleats hit the field to take infield. This should show what everyone is made of. Iwould not expect the Tigers to lay down in either game. Miller just will not let that happen. It could be two great games and then it could be:

How are you liking the 3 game series setup Charlie? Didn't know that I would care for it, but it's not been too bad. I really think that with all of the pitching challanges is brings out, that the it sort of ensures that there are no "fluke" games. You've got to have ample pitching to get through one of these series, that's for sure.

Did not think I would like it at first then it started to grow on me a little. Last night there was the double and we had to look at Mr.Petie for 2 and I am back to dead hatin it. Nobody should have to look at the King of the Blues that much.
