Final from Stone Crest. Any info on who threw for both teams?

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Blackcats like Pikeville, find ways to win. This was a great game.

I'm pretty sure Trey Stapleton pitched for the Blackcats.

I kinda figured Trey would throw for Pburg. No idea on who may have thrown for JC though.

Freshman Jarin Hall threw all 7 for the Blackcats. Central started Juwan Mayes, who threw 5 innings,, Quade Ward pitched the 6th and 7th

A freshman huh??? I didn't know that. Real nice looking young pitcher. I expect him to be one the the region's top tiered pitchers when he's an upperclassman, if last's night's game is an indication of his talents. Real nice breaking ball and composure for a freshman........ Just so many good very young players in the region right now. This region will be strong in a couple of years.
Now for the game. Hate to be on the short end of the stick in this one, but honestly JC did not play bad. They pitching was for the most part, pretty good. JC did not have a whole lot of hits but they still managed to get a ton of runners on base the entire game. They just simply could not execute when it mattered the most to get them in. Not to take anything away from Pburg because they played a very solid game and had really good pitching and deserved the win. Their defense did the job when they needed it. Congratulations to the Blackcats.

^ Finally a post that didn't make excuses and was positive on both teams performance with a congratulatory to the victor at the end. Everyone including myself should take something from Bob's post.

That Seger is a nice guy and has probably been around more baseball than anyone I know over the years. Takes a little heat, but overall a good guy! Just no demand for them.

I must admit Charlie that I am extremly humbled. This certainly has been a red letter day. First a Panther, and then a Tiger. I just dont know that the system could handle a Dawg to go with it, all in the same day. This is definately something that will have to be taken in Baby Steps.

Humbled, I am sure. Bob couldn't take a Dawg bite! Surely a big day in Bob's life! Take it easy big Dawg!
