Quick turnaround: Reds thump Brewers
Cincinnati takes advantage of opportunities to win big
By Mark Sheldon / MLB.com

MILWAUKEE -- The Reds claimed their four-game series with the Brewers by leaving town with a convincing, 11-0 victory on Sunday afternoon at Miller Park. Moved up to replace the injured Eric Milton and pitching on three days' rest, Aaron Harang went the distance, pitching a five-hit shutout with two walks and four strikeouts. At one point, Harang retired 15 of 16 hitters after allowing an intentional walk in the second.

Cincinnati waited out Brewers starter Doug Davis, who was unable to find the strike zone for much of his five innings. Davis (0-2) tied a franchise record with nine walks, including four in a row in the third inning, but only gave up three runs.
