Very, very surprising score! I expected Highlands to win but didn't expect this type of score.

WOW! thats all i have to say.

Ouch.
Really not that suprising though. Highlands is loaded and Cov Cath has been down the last Couple of years by their own standards.

Wow I agree with Blackcat I figured a win but not one of this margin

Unbelievable.

Well I know Highlands is loaded, but CovCath must really be down. I'm sure they aren't losing by these margins!
Congrats to Highlands. Didn't expect a blowout of this magnitude!

I wouldn't say Cov. Cath. is loaded but there is definately talent there.
The opening kick off was run back by Collinsworth for a TD. With in the first 2 minutes, Highlands had scored 2 TD's. There was a running clock for the second half. Highlands started the second half series with starters but quickly move to the second team. Cov. Cath left their starters in the entire game.
The Highlands seconds scored a TD and kept Cov. Cath. from scoring the second half.
This was the worst loss that Cov. Cath. has suffered at the hands of Highlands since 1975 when Cov. Cath. lost the Highlands 55-0.
Certainly not the Cov. Cath. team of old.
Also just a final note: Highlands has out scored Cov. Cath. 101 - 0 in the last 4 quarters of football.

Nice summary, with the exception that Highlands did not start the second half with starters. Backups for the entire second half. It was 55-0 at half.
I agree with you that CovCath has talent, but they matched up very poorly against Highlands. CovCath is big but very slow. Highlands speed and quickness on both sides of the ball just dominated CovCath. Much was said by the CovCath coaches before the season began about how their big and strong O line was going to be the best line in the state. Nope. I won't say that Highlands O line is the best line in the state (how can anyone actually make such a statement or even have a logical opinion unless that person saw every O line in the state play on multiple occassions?), but there is no doubt which of the two O lines was considerably better than the other one last night.
And its 101-0 in the last 8 quarters (which I knew you meant to type but typed 4 quarters by mistake).

close game lol

From the beginning kick off, it was all Highlands in this game. Opening kick off , Austin Collinsworth runs back for a TD. First offensive play for Cov. Cath. was a fumble recovered by Highlands and a TD 2 plays later. Long night for the colonels. The score was 55 to 0 at the half. Second half Highlands played their 2nds who also scored against Cov. Caths. ones.

It is going to be interesting to see how Johnson Central plays Highlands considering the new playoff system. District 5 plays District 6 this year, so it is going to be interesting.

Agreed. JC is the real deal this year, so barring some upset in the first two rounds, Highlands should be travelling to JC this year in the third round. Don't know how JC compares to its team in 06, but at this point I'm not willing to say that this year's Highlands team is better than the 06 CovCath team. It could be come the playoffs, but with Conner still out for the Birds, they aren't there yet. Lot of football to be played before then however.

Your efforts to troll the 3 Cov Cath fans on this site never cease to amaze. Great Job.
