The Admirals are coming off of a big loss to Boyle and Corbin is coming off of a no contest blowout of Trimble County.
Obviously those are two complete opposite types of competition but Corbin appears to be a little strong this season. Last season saw Danville win a tit for tat game with the Hounds at home.
Will the Hounds and their stingy d hold off the Ads Friday night?

Will be an interesting contest. I am anxious to see how Danville competes against an opponent of similar size with contrasting styles. With that being said I have seen Corbin play and was not impressed. If Danville can matchup on up front they should win. If their offensive and defensive lines are not up to the task could be Corbin by a lot.

I think Corbin wins again.
Danville has to come to Corbin and Corbin is better than expected.

Corbin is by far better team than most people expected this year. Playing at home also don't hurt either. Danville will have no one who can stop the lambert kid. He is just a beast on defense.. Corbin by 14..

Danville played Boyle Co. much better than the score would indicate. This game should be close.

Hounds by 10 at home.

Danville's tougher schedule thus far negates home-field advantage in this one. I expect a tight game, and an Ads win in a mild upset.
I hope I'm wrong, though.

Danville has some very key injuries this week that few know about. Really don't like their chances.

Hounds lack a star on offense but have several kids who are solid football players and they get it done by committee.

I agree. They don't have that All-State caliber player like a Matt Bargo, Zac Prewitt, Jon Sizemore, Stephen Cook, Jarrod Lawson, Brad Lawson, Caleb Watkins, Clint Cashen, etc but they have a group of guys that are just a tier below them that play well together. Often times, that is the recipe for success.
I do however think that Taylor Waddle could become that kind of player. He is an athlete unlike many that I've seen come through Corbin. He's not a power back nor is he a flashy speedster. It's so unconventional when it comes to Corbin football. He's your prototype utility player such as a Randall Cobb. I'm not saying he's anywhere the class of Cobb but he's the same type of player. He can beat you passing while at QB, running while at tailback, going out wide and catching balls, catching from the slot, or returning punts/kickoffs.

Agree, there is so many athletes one of them has not been the focus. Taylor played QB last year and was not used.

Waddle is the nearest to a star Corbin has. By the end of the year he may emerge as the go to guy. His touches are limited which hides his ability. He has much better speed than most people realize. Corbin is much better up front this year. Their backs hit the holes and run hard. They will win a lot of football games with that recipe.

Corbin no problem
