Final.. Great game to be at.. P-burg needs to make the recievers work twice as hard and on catching passes because if they catch Passes then I believe they win this game. Hazard cant really afford to not have jones come the 3rd and 4th round of the playoffs.

Prestonsburg played good enough to win this game. Just made a few mistakes that really cost them. Defense played very well, and if not for a few great grabs by Hazards Hudson and a very costly muffed punt, the Blackcat defense would've held Hazard to one touchdown.
This Prestonsburg team keeps getting better each week and I think they can make a run in the playoffs if they keep improving. Very young team that will be very good next season.
Hazard has a good team, not what they've had the past few years, but their good. Should be a team to look out for in the playoffs.

Thought this one would have been even closer than what it was, going by the first half. Really good game from the Blackcats!

Game was very close.. Hazard is a much better with Jones and it makes there passing game open up a little more and I agree blackcat P-burg will be ready for playoffs because defensively they are getting better but those offensive players need to start catch the balls the qb throw because they are were they need to be.

Nice hard-hitting and closely played game. Kudos to -both- teams' defenses !!
The Blackcat receivers can take a lesson from Hazard's Hudson. Three times he literally took the ball away from defenders. GREAT job in aggressively going after a thrown ball !! You can't simply expect to trap the ball against your body - you go TO the ball and catch it with your hands.
Still seeing P-burg receivers running deep patterns when the QB is rolling to the opposite side of the field (either because they aren't spying back or not knowing better). It is NOT POSSIBLE for a non-John Elway type QB to throw it 30 yds downfield to the other side while on the run even if he can see you !! All it does is take you out of the play altogether...
Not mentioning the muffed punt. He looked to be caught in-between. Called the fair catch and the punt could have easily been caught had he committed to it. But I suspect he was hearing his coach's voice in his head from practice ("get out of the way if you can't catch it") and it made him tentative.

Hudson was simply a man amongst boys. He simply ripped the ball out of the defenders hands 3 times. This was the match up i was worried about, and rightly so.
Blackcats defense is getting better every week. Still seeing a couple players here and there stepping aside and trying to arm tackle. Come on guys square up and explode.
Several catchable balls went through the hands of different receivers. To many routes being jogged and not ran hard.
