Paintsville '07

I wasn't disagreein about them not playin hard or any of that, just the part about Paintsville bein 100%.

Say what you want I played against them, and they seemed just fine to me!!! Who wasnt at 100%??? I dont think Cantrell was that big of a factor coming off of an injury anyway. Basically it all came down to Pugh and Sublett as always with a little help from Nehemiah Dodderer. But back to the topic you lose Pugh and Sublett--who is there to replace them. If you couldnt win with that good of a team last year, what is going to happen to you all against pikeville next year in the new district?? I wish you all the best because frankly I hate Pikeville, and would rather have a rematch with yall at region. So hope you find some replacements and good luck next season.

Cantrell wasn't that big of a factor huh!!!! That's funny you say that considerin you guys had a pretty hard time stoppin him in the playoffs.

Cantrell wasn't at 100%, Walker wasn't at 100%, Cody Reynolds was out, Casey Brown had a bad shoulder, the startin center Clay Blanton was out with a broke arm he suffered 3 weeks before the playoff game, Patrick Butcher, Bucky Bailey and J.J. Hensley both had bad ankles. Trust me, Paintsville wasn't at 100%. I'm not blamin that on Paintsville losing because they had the game won but Hazard found a way to fight back and win, that game was all about heart and who wanted it the most.

im pretty sure Pugh and Sublett wasnt the only ones on the team last year if i recall. There is 11 people out there and thoughs 2 didnt do it all.

Redneck Wrote:I have to disagree with the statement about the second game. Paintsville still had a couple players out and that was only Cantrells second game back after missin like 7 weeks and he wasn't even suppose to be playin.

Well youre the one who said he was just comin back and that is why he didnt look 100%. Did he score? I dont remember....but hey its in the past. I was just trying to prove a point that the loss of him, walker, sublett, and pugh will really affect the Paintsville offense. I just want to know who will replace them??? But either way, dont matter---guess we'll see in 07 wont we??

Just out of curiosity...were all these players hurt at the regular season game?? Sounds to me like yall would have been a crap lot better if not for injuries---guess thats football eh?

yes most of the players was hert during regular season. Hurt Paintsville alot.

Nowhere have I said that Hazzard should have lost.
They deserved the W!!! Bottom line!
Cantrell had just been released the week befor and hadn't practiced or worked out for nearly 2 months....He ran great, but could possibly have been better. We will never know.
3 or 4 of these 6 srs. were 4 year starters, they will be hard to replace....They will be replaced though. Hopefully there will be at least 30 very hungry, very mad, very determined Tigers in 2007!
