These two definatley saved baseball, but I hope neither one of them make the hall of fame. Untill Pete Rose enters the Hall then neither of these 2 deserve their name in there IMO.Charle Hustle was hands down better than either of these 2 ever thought of being.

Maybe being very unfriendly since he retired and acting so guilty of something he claims not to have done.He sure brought excitment back into this country by hitting those mammoth homeruns.

Mark McGwire didn't get in simply this year because of the class he was with. Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn, two guys who stayed with the same team their whole career and never used steroids. McGwire will get in I'm pretty sure of it, numbers don't lie. It would be a shame to have a doped up hitter though and McGwire did use steroids, with 2 of the best hitters the games ever had.
