As seasons roll on, injuries and illness seem to be taking affect. It's been floating around the gym lately that 2 very important players have had some bad injuries of late.
Heard that Jada Higgins for Knott Co. was injured and had a bad ankle issue? This would definitely change things for Honeycutt's Pats if it's true. She is such an explosive player and is one of the ones that drives that team. Would be a bad loss for KCC for sure.
The other is the Danner girl at Hazard. She's been one of the Bulldog's up and coming and has been a starter for at least 2/3rds of the season. This kid is a dynamo and has good offense talent as well as defensive. She played just a few minutes during the PCC game and looked off her game. It's been told that she was having an appendix issue and was rushed to the hospital this past week, then she missed the Buckhorn game all together.
Anybody heard anything on either of these great players? Loss of either could be devastating.
