Prestonsburg defeated Sheldon Clark 3(19)-1(7)

Sheldon Clark started the scrimmage running the ball very well. Sheldon Clark's quarterback took a shot, and sat out on a few plays. Later on I belive it was the quarterback that fumbled the ball and Prestonsburg's Austin Gearheart returned it for a touchdown. On Prestonsburg's first pocession they moved the ball really well with a touchdown pass from Bobby Hughes to Austin Gearheart. After the series went back and fourth gpt a little while one of Sheldon Clarks running backs scored a 50 yard touchdown. On the following pocession Prestonsburg's running back Allen Craynon scored on a 60 yard break away. Both teams showed some good sportsmanship and there was a real nice crowd there tonight also.
Both teams had two fumbles, but I think Prestonsburg had way too much team speed for the Cardinals. Good Luck to the Cardinals on the upcoming season.

It was a good game ...
Also SC has 3 starters out of offence and Denfence
Overall P-burg showed up and played unlike the Cards.
Also SC's center broke his leg (pretty sure) so everyone pray for him

I dont know why because they are at every school but seem to stand out more there. But I will say this its a very few that gives a great group of ppl the name, overall Pburg fans are great, wished we still played them.

What you say is very true about the fans, every school has them. However let’s keep this thread on the two teams and players. Prayers go out to the SC player with the ankle. Also hope the knee was nothing serious with the other SC player. Both teams showed class with the sportsmanship. I saw some bright spots on both teams.
