Bowling

I went bowling last night for about the second time in around 5 years. I really forget how bad out of shape I am. I started out horrible but got better as the night progressed.

First game was a 93....:o
Second game was 132
Final game was a 171.

That last game was a lot closer to what I used to bowl

Seems to take me a while to figure out just where the oil is and which ball to throw but since golf season is over for me I figure it is time to pull the old bowling balls back out.

Anyone else here enjoy bowling?

I go once a week with some friends. Sort of a mini league. I average around a 140 which isn't too great but its fun.

My high is a 215.

140 is pretty darn good if you ask me.

My all time high was a 279.
8 straight strikes then a nine spare in the ninth and struck out if I recall correctly.

I usually bowl once or twice a week during the summer, but due to school I don't go very much. I have a Brunswick Radical Inferno and an Ebonite Pantera.

My high game was 249. 180 average.

I went bowling a couple months ago, which was the first time I had been in a few years (I was pretty happy to roll a 132). My all time high is a 179.

I wish I had time to go more often...

I went tonight for the last time this semester and bowled my new high (222). My friend had to top me though and bowl a 231. Smile

I probably won't get to go again for a while.

I usually try to go to Joyland...it's the cheapest.

I bowl at Southland Lanes off of Nichlosville Rd.

On Sundays, Mondays, and I think Wednesdays they have a deal, all you can bowl plus shoes from 9 PM to 1AM for $9.95.

That's not bad.

I guess I like Joyland because it reminds me of Classic Lanes.

That's expensive. Blue Ribbons in Ashland all day Wednesday during the school year and Wednesdays and Thursdays when school is out, it's $1 for shoes and $1 per game all day.
