Nothing from any of my sources. A week or so ago it was rumored a couple 13th region coaches may be looking at the role but apparently those ships have sailed and they are staying put. Still up in the air it appears.

Summer ball will be here before you know it, and still no news. I know the one player has been working out in corbin. I wonder how many more they’ll lose? Whitley could be a powerhouse in sports across the board. I truly don’t understand it.

They will not get a experienced coach here unless they are out of area and don't know the backstory. Siler and the booster program will not let a true coach run the program. Complete crapshow. Look for local assistant coach getting their first(and prob last HC job) to be the hire next week. And the one in Corbin is GONE and per rumors their are others to follow.

They’ve got a couple good options from within. If I’m not mistaken the female coach I saw sitting on the bench this season was the head coach at wburg and did a great job with very few players a couple years ago. I’d bet she’d have lots of success with the talent pool and resources at Whitley. I heard they offered it to Wilson from corbin and he turned them down. I had been told Bruner from Corbin was approached by Siler and was interested. Butttttt did Hibbard at Wburg just step down? To make a move to the county girls program? hmm

Yea I don’t blame them I’m shocked they stayed as long as they have. Other schools are doing workouts and preparing for summer ball. I hate it for the kids
