Just checked my e-mail and found a offer from the Atlanta Braves. To attend a series when they play the Cubs in Chicago. Take a tour of the Cubs stadium and hang out along the banks of the river they have nearby. One of many emails I receive daily from my favorite team's.
When I was a kid I wrote letters to my favorite baseball team's, I had 5 at the time
I wrote to the Braves, Reds, Cubs, Rockies, and Marlins. I received letters back from two of those teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies.
Both letters were pretty much the same. Thanking me for my support and apologizing because they couldn't get me autographs of the entire team
Also I received flyers for discount tickets at both team's home stadiums. I saved and still have both letters and both sets of flyers for discount tickets.
Hearing from my favorite teams as a kid was a big deal. Now today I receive many emails a day sometimes, from my favorite team's. Especially the Braves and the Reds.
Did any of you ever reach out to your favorite team's when you were younger? And did you hear back from them?
What about today, do you now receive e-mails almost daily from your favorite team's?

I never took the time to write my favorite teams (Steelers and Reds) when I was child. Mostly because I never thought about it and I absolutely hate writing, I'm a teacher now and I have to teach it, go figure. Anyway, I get a daily email from MLB because I bought tickets to see a game at Fenway Park earlier this summer. I hate getting a lot of emails so I just ignore the emails I get from MLB. I have no idea what they say.
I do follow the Reds and Steelers on Facebook, that's enough for me. I get the news and pictures I want from their posts.
You mentioned the Braves offering tickets to see Wrigley Field, I would take that offer in a heartbeat if I have the time and money. Wrigley is one place I want to see with the history there.

Surprised any of the teams staff that handles mail was able to read my letters. That was before we had a computer and I've always had the sloppest handwriting

Wrigley is next on my list to see. I went to Fenway Park earlier this summer. It was such a unique experience. Walking in the park was like turning back time, and the atmosphere around the outside of the park was fun as well.

I've done the Wrigley tour. It was pretty nice. Definitely tons of history. Tour tickets weren't very expensive considering how much you got to do and how long it lasted. Would definitely recommend going with someone else so you can each take pictures. Ironically enough, the only other MLB tour I'd done was Coors Field. That one was in the winter so it was kind of surreal seeing everything covered in snow. Remember the Coors Field tour being $10 (around 5 years ago), which is about the price of a high school regional tournament game now.
I’ve managed to make it to both Wrigley and Fenway, awesome just for the atmosphere that surrounds them. From a jaw dropping standpoint, my favorite I’ve been to is Skydome in Toronto, with the retractable roof and (when it’s open which it was the night I was there) the incredibly tall CN Tower looking right down into the stadium. The worst I’ve ever been to was the Trop in Tampa, dark and characterless. Losing it to a hurricane last year wasn’t a great loss from a baseball perspective.
