Big district game for both teams. Both teams are coming off tough losses. Somerset lost a close one to state power Danville, after jumping out to a big lead, and Cumberland lost to rival Harlan, in a game that they lead a lot of the way. Somerset will try to use the speed of their playmakers Scott Newell and Ray Norman to lead the Jumpers to the win. Playing at Cumberland is not an easy place to play. Cumberland has a good fullback in Brad Watts, and a pretty good tailback in Consent (sp) I think it will important for Cumberland to stay close with the Jumpers early, if they do that, they have a pretty good chance at pulling the upset. The way I see the game playing out, is that Somerset just has too many weapons for Cumberland to stop, and I like Somerset to get the big road district win.
