Nicholas County 22, Bath County 17: Running back Garrett Vinegar broke his leg on the host Wildcats' second offensive play of the game after being tackled from behind. He was taken to the University of Kentucky for surgery.
Despite the injured player, Bath County grabbed a 10-0 lead but Nicholas County rushed back and scored 22 unanswered in the second and third quarters.
Jessie Smith's 5-yard run put Nicholas up for good.
