Simon Kenton/Manual Updates
#1
Pioneers LB Zach Kaiser intercepted a Manual pass and returned it 90 yards for the first touchdown of this second round Class 6A playoff game in Independence. Manual had a second-and-goal at the Simon Kenton 2 before committing consecutive false start penalties. The Crimsons had a third-and-goal when QB Derek Woodmore threw for RB Darnell Gardner. Kaiser read the play in the flat and wasn’t touched as he raced the other way.
