EKU hit it on the head. If Pikeville would have continued to score, Belfry would have had 70 or 80 points easy. Pikeville stopped Belfry on one possesion all night. They did a good job against the option and forced a bad pitch which Pikeville recovered. The Pirate JV also did get stopped at the end. Belfry's offensive line dominated the game and Pikeville never made an adjustment to Belfry's man in motion to the left with Pruitt coming back to the right. Trey Willis had a huge night as well at fullback in the second half. The chasm between Belfry and Pikeville continues to grow even in the Pirates "down' year!!! 10 offensive plays in the first half for Belfry!!! 4 carries by Pruitt, 4 TDs. 2 carries by Willis 20 yards. 1 fumbled option. 1 pass from Williams to Josh Robinson 48 yards and a TD. @ long Tyler Williams runs totaling 120 yards. 10 straight wins in the series for the Pirates. Also, high school football fans, how did it look to see Belfry not in the wishbone at all???
