Congrats to the BL coaching staff, this staff has taken more flap than any I can remember (football, basketball, or baseball) from inside and out of program. So a hugh congats on win and this season.

Great atomosphere to be a part of last night. Great crowd for the Bobcats.

No, actually I dont have much to say about BL playing football against pikeville next season. Ive been tpld a few rumors about who paintsville plays next season, but Im just wondering if what i was told is true.

Jackson County
those are for sure from what some players have told me.

I have also heard Knott County but im not 100% on that one.

Paintsville will have games with Farview,Nicholas Co.and Raceland. If you add BB,BL,JC and KCC that would make 7 games. I would suggest that they add Fulton Co. and Twin Valley Va. for 9 and keep SF for 10.They may also may consider dropping the numbers with a bye inbetween District games. They may want to try and keep Phelps but let's wait on that one.

sounds like you have some sort of problem with caldwell.from what i saw he is one heck of a player,tones of hart best pville had on the field! and for the 19 points bl,s backfield truley had a bad night believe what you will but it could have ben a lot more. and if all tiger fans see things like you do i feel bad for there program.stop bashing the kids and start trying to turn a - INTO A + believe me it will make a diff. that is if you truley are a tiger fan.

I never thought I would see the day that paintsville would have to make such a weak schedule. Sad part about it, they'll probably win those games and not even make the play offs

How am I bashing him? I said he misread the pass. He thought it was a fly and it was a post route. I clearly have said all year he is the best on the team. And what possible positive is their to getting beat by Betsy Layne?

Caldwell is a heck of an athlete. He should have started at qb for paintsville last season in my opinion. Makes no sense why they didn't have him at that position last year. That team would have been a lot better if he had been. If he played for a better coaching staff he would be one of the best qb's in the area.

That is a surprising number. Despite my high regard for Jim Matney and the Golden Eagles football program, the Johnson County school district has some issues just like the Paintsville district does. Based on what I know, the Caldwells made the right decision in this case. I regret that it has been such a tough season for Paintsville.

Dustin Caldwell never attended JCHS.

Dustin Caldwell's attendance at PHS is no reflection on the JCHS football program, I would not allow him to play football until last year when he and his father just simply put me in my place, he is now playing the sport he has always loved and should have been allowed to play. (my mistake, not his)

We live at 125 Euclid Avenue, Paintsville KY 606/793-3431. (yes, we used to live at Flat Gap). Any discussion of my son can be directed to this address or phone number. His father will be happy to take care of your questions.

Finally, DO NOT EVER assume you know the reasons for others actions, get the facts. Dustin did not quit friday night. He may have made some mistakes but his heart is totally in football, to publicly assume he quit on his team is incorrect and unforgiveable.

Be careful what you say lol I said he misread a pass and suddenly I was bashing him. As for the switch If you guys are happy then don't worry about what people on here say. As for him quitting on his team there is no way he was I ran chains friday and all the coaches from Betsy Layne talked about was him, and how he was the toughest they had seen all year.

Lisa, no offense was intended with my post. The reasons for you decisions are nobody's business and neither are the reasons that my wife and I sent our kids to both systems at various times. I have serious issues with both school systems and I would like to see both systems address some of those issues. If there had been a good third option available to us, our children would not have attended either high school.

Please accept my apology. I only meant to show support for your family's decision and had no intention of presuming to speak on your behalf.

just looking at other posts from tiger fan and coalminer .tigerfan you stated worst team in 20 years on another tread how is that not bashing? caldwell is the leader of your team and i think his family gets on here so if you say it thay can see it. #11 single handedly held 33 to 80+rushing yards,no one else has been able to keep him under 200, and for lisa i also enjoyed watching your son ,great matchup between he and jarrell!
