Allen County-Scottsville @ Western 11/26
#1
ACS (12-0 - Key Wins : 2A Glasgow / 4A Lone Oak / 2A Monroe Co.
Western ( 10 - 3) - Key Wins : 4A Collins / 4A Fairdale / 4A North Bullitt / 2A Desales/

ACS comes into the final four game with a unblimished record, but have played a very poor schedule. The big Win over Lone Oak was a huge victory, and mean that ACS is the real deal.

Western host its first ever semi state game, and have played a very tough schedule. The three losses this season were all to 6A power house teams (Ballard, Male, and Butler).

Best Player : ACS - Brandon Boards - 1403 yards rushing - 29 touchdowns.
Best Player : Western - Leon Melvin - 8 ints. in 10' (27 Career ints.) Two time first team All State CB. D-1 football player next fall.

That's a riot. Too strong? Have you seen the Patriot front line?
#21
yes i have, and Western is bigger ,their whole o-line are 300 plus pounders, #72 Farley (guard) is 340 lbs and they are no scrubs ,they are very very physical, heck just ask the running back Jacory Richie, i do like the big tackle ACS has ,he's a pretty good player.

Don't take this personally, but those sort of numbers, make this a "see it to believe it" situation. Five linemen of 300+ pounds at a 4A school with a roster listed at only 43 players makes me question how they would have lost at all this season. I don't doubt those guys are big, but I definitely doubt that you are correct on the actual weights. Cy Williams (the tackle you're referring to) is only 290, and Joe Manley from Bowling Green is 305. I have not seen any player as large as them this year, and they are usually hulking over any player they go against. Five guys of that size on the same offensive line should be able to plow anyone unless they're Charmin soft.

Also note on that last, there is a difference between bigger, and stronger.

#72 Donavon Farley guard 340 lbs
#51 Chris Mcgraw Tackle 290 lbs
#63 Ryan Booker Tackle 310 lbs
#54 Calvin Birdsong guard 270 lbs
I dont have any weight info for the other guard, thats an avg of 300 alone ,and yes they proberly could play for ky, ky is not that good, hahaha
#25
Well OK, see, an average of 300 lbs is not having an entire O-Line comprised of them. Obviously in an average a 340 lb guy is going to pull that average up.
#26
hahaha ok my friend, have fun friday night, we try to do the best we can with our O-line
#27
Western's line is big.....and fat. Not that explosive but once they get those fat bodies on ya and they got ya.
#28
yeah, collins should know ,after the way they pounded them all night and sent them home crying, hahaha
