Allen Co-Scottsville vs. Boyle Co. (4A State Finals)
#1
Thoughts/Predictions?
#2
Boyle Co by 2 TD's...

Good Luck Rebels..
#3
I think it will be a great game between two power teams.

I expect a barn burner and a close game just like last year when most thought Boyle would win easily.
#4
Boyle should win this by 10 or more, but we know what happened last year..

#6
Boyle County 28-14
#7
IMO its whoever has the least turnovers.
#8
Boyle wins handily. The Boyle winning streak is not stopped until Highlands blows them out next year.
#9
Boyle should win by 2 or 3 scores. AC-Scottsville hasn't played near the schedule that Boyle has played this year, and yet Boyle's stats are still better. Plus AC-Scottsville is a rush only team, and NOBODY rushes against Boyle.

Boyle 35
AC-Scottsville 14

I think I saw him in a Jenkins thread saying highlands would blow them out too. :HitWall:

Didn't Johnson Central run on them? And East Jessamine?

I don't think ACS will win, but their rushing attack may be the best Boyle has seen all year. I understand they have seen Jude, but the Patriots have three high caliber runners and a strong line. People have been all over the Patriot's schedule for the last two weeks, and it hasn't changed the result yet.

They did have some success running the ball, JJ Jude is one of the top 5 rb's in the state, and East Jessamine's line is huge and very good. But, neither team was able to beat Boyle by running, and I would still say that Boyle's defense was solid in both cases. It takes a passing team to give Boyle trouble defensively, and from what I've read, AC-Scottsville doesn't do that

Well as I said, Boyle County will be my pick and has been, but nevertheless I expect a good game. I'm just pointing out that teams have run on Boyle County (as opposed to NOBODY like your first post said), and the ones that had success played them quite close (except for the second East Jess game). I think the Patriot team rushing attack will be the best that Boyle has seen all year. They may have seen better individual runners, but not three of the caliber that ACS will bring. They have a fairly good sized line as well.

I see where you're coming from, but my opinion is that they will still hold 'em in check, less than 200 yds on the ground. Statistically East Jessamine is a better running team than AC-Scottsville, with two 1,000 rd rushers, one of 'em for 2000. IMO East Jess played an evenly tough schedule as AC-Scottsville. And since Boyle beat East Jessamine pretty handily, I expect the same here. But that's why they play the games

The best rushing team that Boyle has or will play was Bell county.i dont think ACS will be even close to what Bell brought to the field last night.

So ACS has only played 13 games this year?

Yes only 13,they had a first round bye.

We'll see. I have no idea what Bell did last night, and I have not seen them this year.

EDIT: Having just looked up the stats, how do you figure the 78 yards of Bell was the best rushing attack you've seen? Johnson Central and East Jessamine had way more than that. ACS does not have near the balance that Bell seems to have, but I think you'll be surprised by their rushing prowess.

Yes they had a bye the last two years the first round of the playoffs after the consolidation of the two Muhlenberg high schools.

Yes we will Dragonfire,if they dont have a passing game they are in trouble.

Again, I think that you guys continue to miss that I am picking Boyle County. I simply don't think it will be the walk you're (seemingly) projecting. I reject the notion that Boyle County can't be run on. I would be stunned if they held the Patriots below 100 yards the way they did Bell County. I don't know why I waste my breath, I need look no further than the predictions of the last two weeks to see the expectations of ACS.

Boyle County By a couple tds.

I agree. I think there were a couple of teams who had better rushing attacks than Bell did. Not sure how someone can say that Bell was best when they simply COULDN'T run the ball on Boyle...when there were others that could.

OK. Gotcha.

Well they should be pretty rested then.

If ACS control the clock they will win that how they beat us. (western). Also ACS running back is fumble prone.
