I think this game will come down to JC's D-line and how well they play. I only watched them play one time last year and that was the Highlands game. The D-line wasn't very aggressive at all, the pressure mostly came from Jude blitzing, he even got a couple sacks if I'm not mistaking. If JC's D-line can get pressure on Huff and not give him time to find his fast, athletic WR's, JC shouldn;t have a problem. PC has some good LB's and DB's, but IDK if they can contain Jude. If they can come up with a gameplan as effective as Sheldon Clark did last year, PC could have a chance.

I think if PCC utilizes there run game against Johnson Central I think that will really increase there chances of winning. I remember last year when Boyle County got at least 7-8 yards a carry against the Eagles in the season opener, and yes I know Perry is no Boyle County but unless their defensive line has improved quite a bit I think Perry will be able to move the ball on the ground a little bit.

And for the Perry fans that have never been to Johnson Central your in for a treat, it is one of the nicest fields Ive been to and the fans are pretty great too..Never heard a negative comment from anyone during the Boyle County game last year even when the refs missed about 20 holding and false start penalties.lol

I think the Robinson's will make this one closer than most people think. Still will be about a two touchdown game. I'm changing my prediction.

Because Perry Central is only capable of beating smaller schools....
Prestonsburg was a top 10 team.

I agree 100% this is the best facility in the mountains IMO.

It was actually more along the lines of..

JC - 100
PCC - 6

Matt Robinson scores the only touchdown. The reason for the blowout is Jude runs the ball late in the 2nd Q and Matt Robinson is coming up on him.. As Matt goes to tackle, Jude runs right over top of Robinson and keeps trucking. Matt gains a cramp in his leg and sits out the rest of the game. Jude completes a 90 yard touchdown.

Perry has a much better shot at scoring on JC with the pass rather than the run.

Perry has a ton of speed, use it.

Well you know Jude will get his carries, he wil inturn get his LARGE amount of yardage, and he will get his TD's, but with the rollercoaster ride that Perry had from last week and the good win that Johnson had I will have to go with Johnson Central just because they are playing at home. But it will be close early just because of the emotions of their win from last week and that will keep the EAGLE faithfuls sweating just a little bit.
