Middlesboro 62 Hancock County 7

Only reason I started this thread is to get opinions on why in the heck would the Hancock County Coach try a 64 yard FG with the score only 14-7?? And it was obvious from warm ups and from watching him kick the extra point that he didn't have the leg to make a FG from that distance. I'm still scratching my head over that one lol

Buddy, i was thinkin the same thing. I dont know if he trying to catch the Boro off guard or thought it would give him better field position, but it sure didnt make sense. Im just lookin forward to seein next weeks game. I feel an upset coming!

The Coach was trying to use it as a punt. I think he was hoping it would somehow cross the goal line, and Middlesboro would take over at the 20. And the ball was placed on the 50, so it was 60 yards. As many of you know, I run the chains, so I hear a lot of interesting things sometimes.:please:
