WOW what a shocker!!!

Not when you give up four returns for a touchdown. 2 off of fumbles, and 2 off of ints. In Total the tigers threw three interceptions. and had somewhere around 9 fumbles. Not to mention having a first half TD called back for a stupid penalty and three or four big gains in the second half called back. Paintsville did not show up to play tonight.

I am not that shocked. Paintsville has been down for the past couple of years. I guess that they got beat by as much as they did is somewhat of a surprise, but not shocked that they lost.
#4
I am surprised, I thought with Daniels back out Paintsville would be much improved. Magoffin has had some hardships with coaching and funding, but hats off to CoachMccoy for keeping it together.

Wow, way to many turnovers!!
#6
who is coaching paintsville now?

Yeah when you lose by four td's and not one of them is on your Defense then you've got problems. We didn't lose all 9 fumbles though so that is a start I guess.

No shock Paintsville lost, score is shocking though, and Kinner is coaching Paintsville. Not sure his first name.
#9
Congrats coach McCoy!
#10
This is a disgrace to Paintsville. the school system better do something quick about the coaching situation or they will never get this program back to where it was. the head coach has to go!!!!
#11
Anyone putting a positive spin on 9 fumbles is hilarious.
#12
That Spread-O that Paintsville runs now is a joke!! If its not a bad snap its a bad throw or pitch , too many things can go wrong. Line up and get the QB under center and hand the ball off and use the run to set up the pass. Paintsville lost to a team they were better than because they try to play FANCY. YES I have watched Cam Newton and Tim Tebow on TV too they make it look easy but its too easy to make mistakes at the HS leval with that system!!

Congrats MC

They have enough cupcakes on the schedule that they will claim they "improved"when they get a few wins this season. Its a "im trying to save my job schedule". These kids beat these schools in middle school and then get to high school and can't. Some young talent in the school system will start transferring to jc and I don't blame them.

Sarcasm.

We ran out of the I, and Wishbone most of the night. with about 30% shotgun.
#18
Ouch, anytime you have 9 fumbles in 1 game, it's not going to be a good night.

Congrats to Magoffin.

Nine fumbles is a coaching problem??
#23
Congrats to Magoffin, Big Win!

I think people are angry over the bad coaching that's went on since kinner took over. It is a coaches job to work on different aspects of the game, including basic fundamentals. How many well coached football teams fumble 9 times??? People that love Paintsville sports are sick of this political bull crap that has destroyed a once proud football program.

For the Tiger faithful, there is always soccer and baseball. Hard times for Paintsville. Congrats to Magoffin on the win.

Way to go Hornets! Definitely was an awesome win. Keep your heads and hearts in the program even though you are not getting the support of your school system. You have MUCH to be PROUD of. Great job Coach McCoy.

The High School is doing everything it can possibly do to keep this program alive. The Board of Education and the Superintendent of Magoffin Co. Schools is trying to kill the program. Athletics is very important to the schools, kids and community. Instead of trying to put a stop to athletics the Board should take a stand against the Superintendent and give these young men and woman who play sports and represent our school and community as well as the coaches the respect and support they all deserve.

Football is getting there give them another year or two. As for this year they looked good just made stupid mistakes.

paintsville's schedule is very easy after lookign at it, i could see 4-5 wins on the season, but not if they play like they did last night.
#30
I don't see how this is shocking in any way! Magoffin Co is a bigger school, their players were bigger and more physical than the Paintsville players, and Magoffin is simply a better team! The Hornets went into Paintsville, did what they were supposed to do, and got the job done!

Congrats Hornets!!
