Also Jackson County has an awesome freshmen class, and if they stay together, then can put that program on the map. All have work ethics that match their talent level. How about this name Shearer for JC. The "animal" Khris Noble DT. Perhaps the top 5 freshman DT's in the state. Didnt do to much this summer as far as camps cause of a knee, but couple years ago was invited to top gun just b4 the knee injury. Top defensive player for Jackson Co. Tell us your thoughts.

I can only imagine how good this kid will be in 3 years of running this offense.
I like how Black went ahead and made him the starter as this is clearly a rebuilding year.
Next year we return virtually everyone of our skill players and the offense will only get better and not have to rely on Bryant as much as we did this year.
On another note, the Mills kid thats in 8th grade for Whitley iss a dangerous little man on the field. Im really excited about this kids athletic ability on both sides of the ball. I believe he ran for almost 400 yards on Bell County in the first round of the middle school state playoffs and led Whitley to the win against Bell.
If those kids in that 8th grade class can all stay together by the time there juniors with the freshman class we have now being seniors, we will be VERY hard to handle.

Dewey Collett for Leslie county, kind of the unsung hero for the eagles. Gets the job done and looks to make a major impact for the future seasons.

Agreed! All mentioned above are comers. Moreover, Sheldon Clark has some very good talent coming up as freshmen for the 2012 season. The Martin County middle school team distinguished themselves this season.

Skyler Griffith #14 WR-Is by far if not the best freshmen I've seen. He has over 1,400 yards receiving and at least 14 tds. Top in 1A and I believe he ranks in the top 3 in state.
Chris Helton#60 DT/T - Has dominated most if not all of his opponents this year. In the summer he sqauted 500 pds. I have yet to see anyone Give him a real match or even push him around.
Corey Shelton #23 WR/DB - Has around 500-600 yrds receiving and I'm not for sure on TD's but I know of at least 6 and he missed 3 games this season because he had to get his appendix taking out. Also as A DB He has at least 4 picks and 2 fumble recoveries that I know of. And at last hes a punt returner/kick off returner and Hes ran a couple back.
Jefferson Patrick #25 LB/RB - Never seen a kid like this before he has a nose for the ball where ever it goes he will be there also he is the leading tackler. And he is one of the hardest runners I've seen this year ...
With that being said their is a couple more that are pretty good too. and the class coming up is loaded With them being In the region game this year I look for big things for this program in the next couple of years!
