As a Highlands fan, I am offended by your generalizations. There are a few fans that step over the line but not all. Your comments are asinine. With regard to drawing players from all over Campbell County, here is some info from another thread:

This may sound hypocritical coming from me, but I think everyone needs to relax and stop with the general insulting of groups of people or groups of fans. I'm the first one to say my team is better than your team and will running clock you. For me it's all about the game. I don't dislike any particular poster or team. No matter who Highlands plays, I meet a lot of good, honest, fun, sports loving people. Each team may have a few people that say or do something they shouldn't. That doesn't mean one apple spoils the whole barrel. This board is for healthy debate and good natured ribbing IMO. If people say something I don't like, I may just make a comment back, but I'm not going on a personal tirade about the entire organization. If I ever saw an opposing fan in need on the side of the road, I'd be the first person to help them. People shouldn't take everything so seriously.

Can you be specific. If there is a specific Highlands poster that you don't agree with, name them . Do not judge all on the statements of one. I would not do that to any team. I respect all teams and would not judge them on the opinions of a poster.

I, like most other posters on this thread, think HHS comes out and dominates the game from the get go! but on the other hand I'm going to hold a grudge and say that I want lexcath to win because HHS dominated the class my nephew plays in for 4 years lol good luck to both sides hope there are no major fights/events/injuries on either side! pulling for an upset

I have no dog here, but I'm rooting for Lex. Cath. Always a fun day when Highlands loses, even if we're already out . Not jealous of the Highlands program, but jealousy breeds hate for most people, just ignore it guys. I love looking at national rankings and seeing a Kentucky school rated highly, even if it's you guys. As many of you on this thread I do believe Highlands will win. But being a central KY person I will be rooting for the upset. As far as Highlands fans, I have always enjoyed going to their ballgames and meeting and talking to the fans. I have never felt uncomfortable or shown lack of respect, in my opinion Highlands team and fans are a class act, and this is coming from a Boyle Co. Rebel fan. I have even went and watched HHS playing other teams (I love good football) and wore Rebel gear, been approached and asked how Boyle was doing and told we can not wait to play you guys. HHS and their fans have my respect and my hat is off to them. See you guys in August 2012.

Towles' TD/INT ratio is now 40/1 after Friday's blowout win vs Covington Catholic 49-14. Let me repeat that. 40 passing TDs and 1 INT. Those are crazy good numbers. My prediction (63-7 Highlands) while outlandish to some, is based on the improvements on the Birds' defense since the Elder game.

Highlands will score 8 or 9 TDs and will give up 1 or 2 TDs. Looking forward to the trip. Safe travels to all.
