I hope Southwestern wins.
I dont know alot about Anderson Co. but if they can throw the ball it could be a tough road to hoe for SW. However if they are run oriented then SW will win going away.

I think I will wait and get a little more info on this Anderson team. I don't want to make an early prediction on this one yet. They are 11 - 2 so they must be a pretty solid team. However, from what little I have on them it seems they may be about a 50/50 run/pass team. Their leading rusher has around 1000 yards I think so that would make me think they pass quite a bit. They have home feild. Lot of variables. If they are a pass oriented team I would think Warriors 21 -13 in a hard fought battle. If they are run oriented I will say Warrior's 41 - 28!

ac is a run first team (bone/power I) but they can also throw the ball (empty)! the running back is a dual threat seeing as he has over 1000 yards on the ground and through the air this season. their quarterback is one of the top five in passing QB's in class 5A last time I checked, with over 2500 on the year! but best of all is their defense, they gave up only 30 points to Conner (a team that had just destroyed a previously unbeaten franklin county team scoring 84 points) and only allowed 7 points the entire second half, and that game was at their place! I'm just really excited to see this game either it makes history for either team! good luck to both teams! see you at holly warford junior stadium on Friday night!

I don't know anything about Anderson except that they have a great longsnapper. I'm rooting for the Warriors in this one, should be a great game.

Come on guy every game anderson has played,a lot of people say anderson will lose just like last week when they drove over 100 miles and won lets remember at the begining of the season they were picked to make it to state now everything has changed i geuss! I said it before,first time anderson co kids have been healthy all year and it showed in the last two game.if you have not seen them play anderson co is a very solid football team just as they were last year.they can beat you in many ways. they have great running backs and receivers not to mention a really good QB that can run to.I havnt seen a team with so many kids that can catch and run on one team like this in a long time.very hard to defend so many good receivers and QB dont care what team you are!the o line has really done very good job protecting seth!try to shut one kid down get beat by the next three, alot of play makers on one team!!!!! ac42 sw28 :haters:

Hard to say with this game, I have been critcal of Anderson all year, but they have been playing some good ball lately. I didn't believe they would make it this far. On the other hand Southwestern is playing well also after coming off of a big win aginst Harlan in OT. Anderson has a good QB that will throw and run depending on what the defence dictates. If Southwestern does not control the run and passing this will be a tough game for them. Good luck to both.

Im not sure if you have seen SW play either, but SW has a great running back that rushed for almost 150 against Harlan, who prides themselves on stopping the run. SW also has 6 or 7 kids that they throw to and catch the ball too. Also SW can beat people in many different ways with many different packages. I don't think Anderson will be able to block #52 for SW, he ate up Harlan Co. and forced them to the point where they ran away from him most of the night. SW's defensive line wore down Harlan!!
Im looking forward towards friday, it should be a pretty even matched game and I think this will be a shoot out!! Ill take SW 42-35

I don't really know much about Anderson Co but, they obviously have to be pretty good to have made it this far in the post season! It does seem that Anderson Co does have a dual-threat through the air and on the ground in Ethan Kelly. If you can trust the stats on khsaa, he is averaging 112 yards per game on the ground, 80 per game receiving, and 2 TDs per game. With that said, I don't think that Anderson Co will be getting much on the ground but, it does look like they have the ability to go through the air which could possibly pose a problem for the Warriors but, you can't go by what's on paper. From what I am hearing, Southwestern should win this game but, I'll wait on my prediction until I find out some more information on Anderson Co.

Well I think in my pick I am going to stick with South Western after I have done a little more research on the issue. No doubt Anderson County is a very good football team and we will have to play a great game to beat them and I think we will. From the stats I have seen I think if we played this one in our house we win it by 10 but since we are playing it there I think that will take away a touchdown. My pick:
