Beverly is really smooth.

I don't see how there's a comparison, one is in his second year of of high school basketball and isn't even in high school yet. Played in a 14th region title game, won, went to state had the best showing of somebody that young since Richie Farmer while the other is the same age and in his freshman and hasn't won a 14th region title. It's really a no brainer. Of course every player is different, not every one of them can have size, or shooting abilities, if so then the game would be boring.
Like this for example, Beverly is a true PG like a John stockton, who dishes out the points and sets up the teams offense, while Justice is a Kobe Bryant on his team, a leading scorer, the better all around player.

Both are great players and I agree one is a true point guard and leads his team and one is a scorer who carries his team. Both are winners and great kids!! I have been around both many, many times and anyone who criticizes either has never spent time with them. They represent mountain basketball in a way that should bring great pride to everyone east of I75. They are almost exactly the same age..in fact I think Braxton is a few weeks older. If you had those two in the same back court it would be special!! No choice made here...I'll give you first choice and take the the one you don't. No way you can go wrong either way!!

Hard to compare. Two different style of players. Both very good. Good kids who are fun to watch despite who they play for. LOL.
01-30-2012, 12:18 AM
I like the both of them!!! I to know them both very well and let me say this, they are good friends, great KIDS, and have a ton of respect for each others game. They are 2 totally diff players, braxton is a true pg that can also score, camron is a 2G that can flatout score the ball. I would love to have either or both on my team. They are both winners, hardworkers and very talented. Its gonna be fun watchn them the next 3 or 4 yrs. Sit back and enjoy it, its not everyday you have kids like these in the mtns.

Rumors have it that next year the two will be on the same team, but where at Knott or PCC? Beverly was spotted two saturdays ago walking out of Knott. IDK, but I can't wait to see.

Wow...I've heard 2 adolescents from the 14th Region mentioned in the same breath as John Stockton (NBA Hall of Famer), Kobe Bryant (future NBA Hall of Famer), and Derrick Rose (NBA MVP). What is going on in the mountains...?

L o L
I was just giving a comparison....
there will NEVER be another John Stockton

I'd like to have both .....but I don't understand why people bash Elisha on here.....this thread is about Cam and Braxton.....Elisha is a sophomore at Louisville..come on you can't expect him to play 15 min a game right now....Kuric didn't even start playing till his junior year....but enough about that....Honestly, I've seen both players play numerous times, and right now as an overall player, I'd go with Cam but I'd have him in the gym working on his D.

No contest its Braxton Beverly Justice cant shoot on the run, If you make Justice shoot on the run hes not that good right now, Braxton is more controlled than Justice is...Beverly is rated the 8th best player in America in the class of 2016 by ESPN. And Justice is not. 8th grader or freshmen its Beverly at this point hands down.
01-30-2012, 01:00 PM
What a debate! I think they are both outstanding players. If Braxton was needed to score more he could, if Cam was asked to set up other players and control the tempo he could. We are very fortunate to have such talent here in Eastern Ky. that we can enjoy with less than an hour drive on any given night. I would love to see both of these young men on the same team but I don't know if that will ever happen considering both of these schools would do anything to keep them in their respected programs. If anyone could leave it would be Beverly to KCC. As long as Alan Hatcher is there I don't see it ever happenig! I pray both of these young men stay healthy and continue to grow and improve so we can watch, eat popcorn, and wish we were them.

No Contest?...Justice scored 45 on a d**** good buckhorn team while shooting a very good percentage from the field. Beverly is the better pg, and Justice is a way better scorer. Combs nor Beverly will be able to guard justice. Either Huff or Paige will have to guard this kid or he will have a field day.
As been said before these two are both very good players but different type of players. If the game was on the line, with one shot left I'd want Justice to shoot it over Braxton but If I'm starting a team and can only have one of these two players, I'd take Braxton anyday. This is just an opinion thing, you really can't go wrong with either.
To answer the question, give me Braxton.
