Dylan Beasley played only three quarters on Friday night, but he still put up huge numbers as Nelson County (Bardstown, Ky.) overwhelmed North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, Ky.) 76-36 to even its record at 3-3.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound senior quarterback completed 20 of 28 passes for 533 yards and nine touchdowns. His touchdown passes went to five different receivers. Leading the way was Khalil Bourn, who snared eight for 191 yards and three touchdowns. Drew Martin caught just two passes but they went for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas Land also had a pair of touchdown catches.
Through six games he has completed 141 of 208 passes (68 percent) for 2,475 yards and 27 touchdowns. He is averaging 412.5 yards per game and has thrown just five interceptions.
Coach Jamie Egli told MaxPreps: "Dylan has a ton of God-given ability. He can make any throw on the field. What sets him apart is his decision making. He doesn't get greedy. He stays true to his reads and that's one of the big reasons why we are having so much success on offense."

Dont 9 tie the State record? If he was left in for 9 why did the Coach pull him and not let him set the State record? Could have made Sports Center.

The Jarrell kid from Prestonsburg had just set the yardage record a week earlier against Pike Central. He also threw for 9 TD's I think. Should've went ahead and gotten 10 for sure.
