1. Trinity- Anyone oppose? I didn't think so.
2. St. Xavier- Losing to your rival sucks. Losing in a blowout stings. Knowing every single other team in the State of Kentucky would more than likely lose as badly if not worse helps to dampen the blow.
3. John Hardin- Bulldogs simply won't be tested the remainder of the regular season it appears.
4. Central- Yellowjackets have to put up with the necessary evil known as district games until they can challenge PRP for bragging rights to make a move up the rankings.
5. PRP- Panthers only hae Butler standing in the way of their date with Central in Week 10 to see if they can finish undefeated.
Trending Upward;
Butler- The Bears take care of business against Manual and are now 5-1. If they can defeat PRP in a couple weeks they significantly improve their chances of making a deep playoff run.
South Oldham- The Dragons are 5-1 with their sole loss early in the season to a quality Meade County team. Their shootout win vs. Conner makes them look even better
Trending Downward:
Shelby County- Rockets looked as if they may have the ingredients to be an outside threat at a run in 5A, a loss to Collins proves they still have a ways to go.
Bullitt East- what has happened to the Charger program that was upstart and ready to make their name on the statewide level. Losses to Central Hardin and Spencer County in their last 3 games have them looking for answers.
Game of the Week:
Cooper at South Oldham- One of the better NKY teams travel to face the red hot Dragons as both teams look for a statement win.
