when breathitt walks out on that field, poor little morgan will be intimidated, just a like last year. game will be over before it ever starts. morgan will trimble in fear when the Bobcats take the field. I don't see morgan even trying to make a game of it. I seen that buch lay down last year over here, I see the same thing this year, morgan will lay down again. We're not worried about morgan, we got Belfry in a few weeks. Bruse brothers will knock them around all night long. morgan wont touch Trent, their not capable of it. But if morgan acts right, he might sign them some autographs after the game.

The Bruse brothers are comin to morgan. the game will be over when Breathitt gets off the bus. Enough morgan talk, we got Belfry to worry bout in a few weeks.

I think this will be closer than expected, but B.C. pulls it out 35-21.

Nearly everyone on this thread has chosen Breathitt. Little does everyone know that this Morgan County team is very talented with just as many tough, mean young men as the Breathitt squad has to offer. Morgan has 4 STARTERS sidelined all with season ending knee injuries, but people shy from the fact that there is an immense amount of talent in the squad. Crase and Thornsberry won't be shut down. The defensive side of Morgan is unmatched in this district and if you dont agree log onto khsaa and look at the stats. That being said I'll throw my hat in this ring and say Morgan by 14 with a final of 22-8.

:thatsfunn:thatsfunn:thatsfunn I know that your team is pretty good this year but you got beat by Breathitt last year and they are pretty good this year also. They are better then last year IMO so odds are good that this game will be a lot like last year. Just hope you can make it a game but 22-8 Morgan. Come on man!!! Also think about the fact that the KHSAA stats up to this point reflect the level of competition you play up to this point. I think Breathitt has you beat on that point.

Do not see BC running up the score on the MC team. Score will be closer than the game will be. Breathitt plays their JV in the second half. 45-21

Morgan by 2 16-14

alright enough talk, this game will be settled on the field, morgan plays with heart and determination so i think Morgan pulls this one out, by a TD or a 2 point conversion. Morgan has something to play for Breathitt doesn't, come Friday night the Cougars will be ready for war, people say they will lay down, and that the game will be over before it starts, all I have to say is you don't know what this Morgan team is capable of.

It is real easy to get good stats when u get to play the whole game!! Breathitt staters has not play the whole game, so morgan stats looks just as good as Breathitt. Breathitt starters on d has a lot more to prove, so we will see on Friday night. Also the o line will keep Morgan d from Trent

They lost a fellow teammate right before season and it devastated the team. He was a wonderful Christian boy and an awesome little football player. His Dad also used to help coach. Breathitt has comradery too. The seniors have played together since 4th grade. We all hate what happened to Morgan County. That is terrible and a lot of our churches and other groups of people like our Red Cross kids came down and helped out. I pray they get everything back together. With God all things are possible.

Breathitt will win but Morgan,Co will compete Breathitt 38 Morgan,Co 20.

This game is going to be a very competitive game. Usually it is a blowout, but this year its going to be a battle that Breathitt Co should win but for some reason their is just something magical about this Morgan Co football season. So I wouldn't be shocked if MC shocks Breathitt Co with a W.

Magical=Strength of Schedule
A few years ago I bet that if Estill County beat Breathitt I would not post on here again, and I almost lost. Breathitt won by 1 i believe. While I am not going to make that same bet, I would be shocked if this game is within 20 points. I am sure that this game will be closer than years past, MC has improved, but so has BC. Instead of BC winning by 50 as in years past, I think they win by 25-30

I'm seeing basically the same exact things being said this year as what was said last year. Breathitt county is going to win this game the same way they did last year, maybe if Morgan shows some class and respect unlike they did last season Breathitt might take it a little easy on them.

Breathitt does have something to play for and it's called a district championship. Breathitt also is playing for a fallen teammate who passed away unexpectedly during summer practice. So yes, Breathitt does have a lot to play for as well. I think the Morgan County fanbase doesn't realize what this Bobcat team is capable of either. Go Bobcats.

I keep hearing about how Morgan County is not showing respect or class so...please elaborate on who you are referring to from Morgan who is not showing class and respect.

I am very sorry to hear that Breathitt lost a teammate this year. I had not heard about this and I send my condolences to the family and the team. I think the Morgan fanbase is aware of how good a team Breathitt is...I'm just not convinced (by what I hear and read) that Breathitt knows or even considers what Morgan may be capable of.... i mean they (Breathitt) have made several statements that they "aren't even preparing for Morgan" but "preparing for Belfrey" How rude is that??

I can tell you Holcomb has been preparing for Morgan. We will worry about Belfry when the time comes. Some people get on here not knowing what they are talking about by saying Breathitt isn't preparing for the Cougars. Morgan has improved since last year and I can guarantee no one in the bobcat locker room is taking this game lightly. This game is for the district championship and with all of the hype building around this game I am sure both teams will be ready to play. Go Bobcats.

Is this even a debate? Breathitt by a lot.
10-09-2012, 04:49 PM
Breathitt can look on to Belfry and still win this one by as much as they want.
10-10-2012, 10:33 AM
I agree totally. Bobcats have a few good weeks to get ready for Belfry and that's exactly what they need to be focusing on. I don't even remember who we are playing this week, oh yeah it's Morgan county. Like I said, we have a few weeks to focus on a real game with Belfry. Morgan needs to be respectfull and take their whipping like men. Then Morgan needs to support the bobcats when we go play Belfry.

I think breathitt will win big in this one(40-8). I do think Morgan will come out hard and play with the bobcats for the first quarter. But bobcat defense will be to much for the cougars to handle. I hear Morgan co fans talk about comparing scores with the two teams they both have played. That is very misleading because the bobcats starter may have played a quarter and a half. Until Morgan co gets away from playing a water down schedule they will struggle in playoffs. I understand what turner is trying to do to get interest up and that is have a good record. But he needs to step it up a notch and schedule some better teams . In my opinion I would rather have a tough loss than an easy win . Because u learn so much from a tough loss ( 1 or two point defeat) on what a team needs to work on and also what your team did good. In a easy win you don't get a lot out of it but maybe confidence and playing time for your younger ones.

With all the tornado damage to the field, what's the seating situation?
10-12-2012, 08:35 AM
I will be attending the game tonight. I look for Morgan Co. to pull the upset. Both teams are 7-0 coming in to tonights game. If I'm not mistaking Morgan Co's leading 3A in most stats. Breathitt Co.'s defense has given up over twice as many points as Morgan Co.'s defense.
Morgan County 26
Breathitt County 22
I know most Breathitt County fans will post about how ignorant they think I am after predicting this. I expect nothing less from the Bobcat faithful. If the Bobcats win, congratulations. I wish both teams the best.

Well said Cat Daddy. I can honsetly say you're the only Bobcat fan on here so far that actually pays attention to what you post. I believe it should be a good game tonight.
