Somerset 28 Perry County Central 20
#1
Final
#2
Closer than I expected. But congrats to the jumpers!

When I saw this score I assumed it was another Perry Central Homefield Special...surprised to see this was at the Briar Patch.

Somerset is a tough team to figure out, but they just keep winning nonetheless.

Congrats to Somerset

lol - Somerset radios said there was 7 penalties in the second half - all on Perry Central

Perry was down 21-0 at one point in this game.

I got hung up at work and missed a crucial point in this one.

Perry was down 21-14 and had the ball down in the redzone and when I came back the Jumpers were driving. Can anyone let me know what happened?
#7
Well done Jumpers!

Jumpers stop perry on downs in the red zone there zaga. Jumpers had the foot on the throat very early and let up, lot of subbing in this one, trying to keep kids healthy for playoffs. Perry is very good offensively and Somerset needs to learn how to finish, good luck to both in the playoffs.

Perry Central went for it on 4th and 3, got popped, fumbled and Somerset recovered. Somerset jumped up early and seemed to think it was over. The Jumpers had a chance to pull away with a 2nd and goal from the one in the third quarter but another bad snap caused a third and forever. Perry intercepted a pass in the endzone and really made it interesting. It seems like the Jumpers have at least one of those snaps each game. That has got to stop.

We had headed to the car at that point so I am just going by the radio but they said it was a fumble on fourth down.

Correct. He wasn't going to get the first down anyway, but he did fumble there

It was, but slaughter had the quarter wrapped up 3 yards deep on 4th down, fumble didn't change much but the stat sheet

Thanks for the tip Wink

Looks like we traded wins on senior nights in this series.
Anyone know if this one is getting renewed?

Good luck to you guys in the playoffs.

PCC played it closer than i expected....

IMO, PCC has a great shot at beating Madison Southern...
#15
Cong: to Jumpers 8-2 on Season. Big Win on Sr Night and didn't have any injuries. We need to put people away when we have chance. I thought Tanner had a Super game at Full Back and OLB.
#16
congrats to the Jumpers, any news on the 2 hurt a few weeks ago?
#17
Good win for Jumpers. Good regular season with a very tough schedule.
#18
I was pretty close on this one. I predicted Jumpers 27-23. Took a little flack for saying PCC would get into the 20's against the Jumpers they did.

Congrats Jumpers on the win.

They were both at the game. Jacobi pushed Will's wheelchair down the track when he was recognized for senior night. Will also did the pregame coin toss.

PCC feeling a little BUTT-HURT? feels good to say it after the PCC fans were relentless with it last year
#21
Perry got to far behind probably the bus ride bother them early before they got going.
#22
Will the Will kid be in a chair for a while?
I never really heard the exact injuries...
#23
Broken pelvis, maybe in two places. So there will be a bit of recovery til he is up and going again.

#27
Sounds like it turned into a heck of a game.
#28
Congratulations, Somerset!

Congrats to the Jumpers on the win, proud of the Commodores for hanging in there and playing hard. Good luck to both of these teams in the playoffs.

Commodores may of not won a lot of games this season but they have been in every single game this year. The boys have done well considering all they talent they lost last year. Thanks for making this an interesting year.
