I heard there are some starters for Belfry sitting out this week Trinity Carr, Payton Mullins, and Zach Taylor. I don't think it will make a difference against Knott County, but could make a huge difference down the road not having these 3 key players. What are their injuries? How serious are they, and has anyone heard when these 3 get to return?

This isn't a Belfry team of the pass where if we have to pass we'll lose. We can pass. It's a part of our O this year. At the end of the Johnson Central game we threw a short pass to run clock and gain yards.

We all know Belfry will roll.
Why don't they try to "roll" over Breathitt Co?

It is what it is. Last year Breathitt was defeated by Belfry at home but this is a new year. This group of seniors have been looking forward to this game since last year and believe me they will be ready. The bobcats might not like the result from this years game but there is also a good chance the Pirates might not like the result as well. We will just have to wait two weeks to see the outcome. I hope both teams can avoid injuries the next two weeks where both teams will be at full strength.

I agree Cat Daddy I think it will be a fantastic matchup with either team having a great chance to win.

As bad as I hate Breathitt, that is about as plain as it can be said. Last year I knew Belfry was the better team, this year is a toss up. I do know Breathitt returns the best player on the field from last years game in Trent. I'm sure it will be a great game if both teams make it too it. I'm just glad I don't have to drive to Jackson.

If both teams take care of business I can say with 100% honesty I dread seeing Trent again...kid is simply a fantastic football player.

Maybe the biggest mismatch in football history.

oh, i agree, but sometimes the kids put so much into the rematch, they make mistakes, who ever wins that one, would have to be favorite, to reach the finals..
