Harlan @ Williamsburg 11/9
#61
sorry teacher man, when in the second sentence should be win
#62
Williamsburg will not overlook Harlan. Coach Herron has the utmost respect for Coach Donahue and the Green Dragons. Harlan gave them a pretty good whipping early last year and has the majority of that team back. This is a long rivalry with the teams having been in the same district for many years. I hate to see the rivalry end next year.

Da jackets! By a lot!!
#64
I have the upmost respect for Coach Donahue! I think the Jackets will win by 2 TDs BUT should they make the mistake of looking past the Dragons, Donahue has the capability of biting them in the butt!!

Good luck to both teams; no injuries!!!

E's Army Wrote:Cj2561 your quote was "Jenkins will pull this one out late". For some reason you thought Williamsburg would overlook them. Note that is quotation marks. It sounds like some body lied. Was it you cj3561? Now that I know you are a liar you have even less credibility. If you make a bold prediction have the balls to not deny it when you get called out.

i am not deny anything. i know there is no way in hell that jenkins would beat williamsburgs.... in one of these post. i said it would be funny if jenkins would have beat them. then, if a team is that much better then the other team. they need to blow them out, the longer they stay in the game. the more they started to think they can win it.... if i said anything else i much be drunk, and don't remember it.
if i get the balls to wear a tennessee vols in kentucky, and have a tennessee vols flag over my window just a 1/2 mile from UK campus, when i live up there.

I think these Wburg fans get upset too easily. No one on here is doubting that you all will win this game. That is a given. I have said that I have been rooting for you guys but yall seem to think that I am attacking your program. I am not and I cant speak for cj. I do think that yall have serious problems come next week. I have said this many times and I cant shake the thought. You guys are becoming a good team, but, you are a young team. I think that is what will hurt you all. Next year or the year after, it may be a different story. I seriously dont think you can make it past next week, if you do, great because I want another week or two to jab at 64. There is nothing personal meant by any of this, I dont even know you guys, but I do have an opinion. The proper thing to do on here if you disagree with me or someone else is state facts as to why you think different instead of referring to one's manhood or other things. I will say this at least you guys have not stooped to threatening a kid like someone on another site did. I will also tell you this, one of my good friends here, Smashmouth, is truly backing you guys. He wont back you over the Mayfield Cardinals, but he has connections there and is backing you. Just about like I am backing Hazard due to the connections I have there. Even though we lost to them last year, I was very proud for my wife's family that they finally got their first state championship.

:dudecomeon: do you sleep under that tennessee vols flag when you bring it home.Confusednicker:

I guess I could root for Tennessee. Only if they were playing Florida or Alabama.
#69
I understand the probably drunk excuse but my wife doesn't. I hope your wife is more understanding 2561.

Confusedhh: may just haveto drink a beer with you after the seasons over with mysonis55 after we win the 1A state championship :theman:in mayfield now win or you want get to play us.Confusedmoke:

We will be there waiting on you 64. It would be a good idea to bring those boys to that game, even though they won't be playing. If they go see what it is like they will want it much more next year.
#72
Williamsburg by two scores
#73
Jackets by 3TD's....

I do have some work related very good friends in Williamsburg. It would be disheartening if the Jackets lose. I've been following their progress all year and would LOVE to meet them in Bowling Green. Lets hope both teams take care of business for the remainder of the playoffs.

I haven't seen either team play, but I am rooting for Coach Donahue's team. I hope the Dragons win.

What do you mean by "We will be waiting there...?" You certainly can't mean that "We" means Mayfield and "there" means Bowling Green. Mayfield and Russellville will win this week but whichever team wins next week will be stopped by Franfort the following Friday.

I do like your confidence. If that game happens, it should be a barnburner. Both Mayfield and Frankfort have had a good year. I'm looking forward to some Smashmouth Football!

Avery, I said what I said and I meant what I said. That game in Frankfort, if you make it past the wood, will show you that your team has a serious flaw. Afterward, you will understand Frankfort is Pretenders, not contenders.

I'm actually a Williamsburg fan, not Frankfort but I can understand the confusion. After Frankfort beats Beechwood and Mayfield in back-to-back weeks, they'll be softened up so much that Williamsburg will beat them by 20 in BG. Just sayin'.

Now thats crazy lets talk about this years title game instead of next years title game. LOL

Hazard vs Mayfield will be the title game..

Avery, you and 64 have got one more good week. I dont mean it to be bitter sounding or anything, I have said this many times. I cant shake the fact that they are younger than most championship calibre teams. I think they are set up very well for next year or the year after though. I also have this sneaky suspicion that Hazard has been playing opossum a bit. As I remember last year they had 3 loses coming into the playoffs as well. I know they lost quiet a bit of talent but, they are much like us or Bwood at this point, they just reload. I could be wrong, but if that is the case, that just gives me another week or so to get my jabs in on 64.

Tell u something else 55. This time of year Coaching is huge. I dont know anything about Williamsburg's coaching staff. I just know that Hazard's coaches know how to develop a game plan. There is alot more film to study now and a coaching staff they know how to get to BG they have been there 3 out of the last 5 years it is a huge advantage to have a staff that knows how to get over the hump in the playoffs they got there and lost a few. Now they got the big win under their belt. I will still be surprised if they are not on bg. I remember in 85 my freshman year the nickname in all the papers was the depowered House instead of powerhouse in 2a ball because we were a senior led team the year before but bam the young talent devloped over the season and the coaching was excellent and 85 was the first of back to back talent. Hazard knows the deal and how to exploit young players they proved that against our soph qb last year. Hazard played a rough schedule got banged up a little and is now back rolling so im like 55 your year is next year or the next.

Herron is an experienced coach and smart enough not to overlook anybody. If revenge is the fuel that feeds the beast, then I guess you think Pineville will beat Hazard?

Herron is one of the up and coming best coaches in the state.
I expect some schools to start calling him over the next few years.
His offense is one that would suit teams with a lot of speed, and these top tier programs in the state would love his system.

I agree that Herron may get some calls but I doubt he would leave W'burg. He played there back in the day. Who knows?
