I am not sure there is a 2A team in KY that would be 3-0 against Somerset's schedule... there are only a couple teams I think would be 2-1.

Big win for Somerset last week

I really like that Hazard and Somerset signed on for another 2 year deal. Two very good small teams set to do battle Friday. Feels like #8 for hazard has been there forever! Really physical running back, and the 6'6 receiver looks very good as well! Going to be a good game regardless of the outcome I believe!

Old Jumper I know Somerset and Hazard played in the mid to late 70's twice, that I remember. Both were Somerset victories. Hope that you can maybe fill in the history of these two teams.

What is the injury status of Somerset going into this game?

Good luck to both teams Friday.

Somerset 21 Hazard 17

I believe Somerset at this point in the season is more battle tested. I like the Jumpers to win by a score of 21-14. Good Luck Briar Jumpers.

I think the Bulldogs fix a few things this week in practice. Due to the injury bug with Somerset I think the Bulldogs pull this one out.
Hazard 26
Somerset 21

Looks like the series count is 18-4-1 for the Jumpers, plus one score unknown.

I think this will be a good game. You have two typical powers in the east that don't seem to be firing on all cylinders just yet. I think Somerset is a little bit farther along that Hazard at this point. I think the bunnies win another close one!
Somerset - 27
Hazard - 24
Somerset - 27
Hazard - 24

After looking at film of Hazard and LCC, Hazard will have a lot of problems with Somerset. Bunnies win by 2 Td's.

I've been hearing all year about teams gonna have trouble with the bunnies. It just hasn't materialized yet. Hazard will prevail.

You just don't have anything Good to say about anyone in the East!!!! I've seen both teams. Last year and this year and I'd be willing to bet you have seen neither one, either year. Doubt if you could name over 2 players on either Team unless you looked it up. That being said. On film there were several holes in Hazard def. if a Somerset player gets ball there he will take it to house. Go Jumpers!!!!

Cell king, I don't have to know anyone to know they aren't living up. Hazard will have the coaching to correct what ales them. Not to mention yall go there. I just recall all this talk by your bunch about 3 weeks ago about how Caldwell didn't stand a chance against the bunnies. That just hasn't been the case. If you are gonna talk it, be prepared to back it. By the way, Hazard is still considered east isn't it?

I don't recall Somerset fan saying that Caldwell didn't stand a chance against Somerset. Why don't you post those quotes?
While the Somerset fans have been disappointed in a 1-2 start I think even the most optimistic fan knew that 2-1 was the best case scenario given their first 3 games. As it turns out Pulaski was even better than advertised and Belfry's youth has not affected them at all. I don't think losing to a pair of undefeated, ranked teams in 3A and 5A shows that Somerset isn't good. Even your mighty Cardinals would likely have dropped one of those 3 games, especially if you had to travel 3 hours to Belfry.

I've read every post about Caldwell and not one post from a Somerset Fan said a dang word about Caldwell not being the real deal. I think you try to stir up trouble. Hazard is a good football team and if the beat Somerset I will say Cong: to Coach Dixon and a Coach who played for me at Leslie Co. Coach Koogler. I hope you will do the same, but I doubt it.!!!!

Tim has his faults as we all do. Don't change the fact he played when I Coached at Leslie!!!! Glad to see they are on way back.

As I've said before, I like this game on the schedule. Both teams are traditional small school eastern powers. Regardless of the outcome I think you will see both teams improve this week. Somersets staff hasn't forgotten how to coach, and their kids haven't forgotten how to play... Looking forward to the trip.

Cellking, you really don't want to tell someone who finds facts for a living that they don't know what they are talking about. You said that Somerset fans never said this, so here we go:

E's Army posted. Bunnies should be #1. Somerset is team to beat.
I forgot to write the page and thread of these as well, has to be either on page 11 or 13.
E's Army posted, Bunnies bring home the big trophy.
Jumper Pride 1 posted, I'll say it now, people will be surprised at Somerset's speed. This team has more talent than the Somerset team that went to state.

LeeCoUK Fan posted, This year is the year for Somerset to get over the hump and bring home a State Championship! They have one of the best coaching staffs in the state, studs at skill positions, senior leadership and a really good offensive and defensive line.
E's Army Posted, Bunnies!!!!
RCVikings posted, The Briar Jumpers definitely have the best overall team and coaching staff. Haven't seen Caldwell Co but I have seen the Skidmore kid and he is legit.
E's Army posted, Bunnies will hop all over 2a.
Now does that refresh your memory? If not, I'm sure I can dig a little deeper.
