I know Dunbar is down a little but better than they have been the last few seasons due to a tremendous coaching job already by Paul Rains. I think Damien Harris will have another tremendous game, but will it be enough? If Southern wins this they will be 4 and 0 going into their bye week. What do you all think?

I think Dunbar wins this one. People are caught up in the old Dunbar and not giving this group it's fair shake. They are a quality group and I believe they will handle Madison Southern. Dunbar will hit Harris a lot, they are used to elite backs. They play Henry Clay with Elijah Bell and Scott County and Bryan station and creek year after year. He will still get his as evidenced by the 30+ Carries but Dunbar is very athletic and has too many weapons in the Triple Option game for Southern. Emory Thompson will have a field day running the option and Dunbar pulls away in this one. IMO

First Real test of the season for Madison Southern. Let's be honest the first 3 teams they have played are bad teams. Dunbar is athletic, big and now seemed to be coached for the first time in a while. It will be a close game. If MS can get Harris lose often they win. If Dunbar can make MS beat them throwing, Dunbar wins. This could come down the wire. Both Teams have an X factor. Rains is a damn good coach who knows how to win and shut down teams. Harris is the best player in KY and if given the chance HE alone will beat you. Not ready to make a prediction.

42-34 Dunbar. Harris has a big game but Southern D will not be able to stop Dunbar.

Coach Rains is proving to be a differance maker at Dunbar.

I really think this is a trap game for Southern. They should win but I'm looking for a close battle because Lexington schools are used to seeing speed, this game will be won in the trenches.

True... This is the first real test for Southern, but I think they live up to the expectations that they've set for themselves. From what I hear they have a good young Sophomore QB that transferred in over the summer. I know for a fact they have a solid receiver in Linville (spelling?) that's been forced to play QB thus far because of the lack of talent at that position going into the season. If the young guy gets in, and Linville splits out, it will create havoc for Dunbar and allow Damien to get into open space, and he's pretty much unstoppable in open space. It's really hard to hit a kid you can't square up on, and you won't be dragging this one down from behind... Southern by 10

What I am saying is that they have already played 2 emotional draining games. What I mean by being a "trap game" is that they possibly come out flat and lose focus early. After this they have a bye week, and then begin district play.

Former players being introduced tonight, Coach Clark is getting everyone involved from community, that's what a good coach can do for his community.

Don't be caught saying that in Letcher County

Coach Rains record speaks for itself. He won at LCA, Hazard and Madison Central. He would be 3-0 against Letcher Central's schedule this year.
