#2 seed Campbell County travels to #4 seed Ryle. Wow, that just sounds odd with the history that these two teams have had since Ryle joined 6A several years back. This is a great game for Ryle to shock themselves with a win, and a perfect trap game for the Camels to fall in after their emotional win against Dixie.
As a Camels fan, I fear this game. I believe the Raiders can fix a lot of wrongs of their current season with a win here, and could use that to carry emotion over to the final game against Dixie. I've been at Ryle for a lot of heart-breakers in the past, this game has a lot of ingredients that I don't care to taste.....

Ryle by 35!!!!!!!!!!!
Jk I do think Ryle has fixed a lot of problems already and is agree this game has the ingredients to make this a slobber knocker. Ryle's Defense played great against cov Cath till about 2 min left in the third. Woolf is doing his job it's time for Warner and Harden to get the offense going. England provided a nice spark to the offense but I still do not see Rytlewski as an answer at QB. Brandt is the better QB but after seeing him play DE the past two weeks he's too valuable of a defender to lose for the D.
I'd like to see England use more in the passing game. Maybe even try him in a wildcat situation.
I believe it will be a touchdown deciding game because Warner will be putting a lot of pressure on this game because it is Senior Night at Ryle.

From what I've seen, Ryle's defense has played ok all year till they get tired. No amount of conditioning can prepare a kid for playing both sides and playing well when the opponent is fresh and rested.

Agreed I do like the new 21st century defense the Raiders have switched to. There were also some positive signs that the pass game is starting to slowly be more involved into there game schemes.
I would like to see more passing but with Rytlewski at QB can they? The question will be can he continue to improve and develop as QB.
This week is the test for the Raiders. They pull this out they might win a playoff game.
And I'm not sure how it works out but does anyone have the seedlings if this situation plays out.
SK 4-0
Ryle finsihes 2-2 (beats Campbell, loses to dixe)
Campbell 2-2 (beat Dixie, loses to Ryle)
Dixie (beats Ryle, losed to Campbell)
Boone 0-4
What does it go to if they finsih with the same amount of district wins in this situation.

I think Rytlewski will improve to be adequate if he's not constantly looking over his shoulder for fear of being yanked and his line gives him time to make a play. He played well Saturday. His pass to Colin for a TD couldn't have been any better. He also showed some poise by not tucking the ball and running every time he's under pressure as he has tended to do in the past. They should give Ryan a chance to settle in.
Just my opinion.

I agree the problem is they do not have a true QB coach. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that pulling a QB after one bad series and sticking another one in and expecting the offense to gel isn't going to work. I was impressed he has improved a lot since 7 on 7s this is the first I've seen him play that I didn't think I was duck hunting :lmao:.
I'm sorry that was mean but I had too.
But I'm happy with his improvement as I believe 90% of the Ryle fans are. He continues to improve and they play some more players on Friday instead of having 4 OLine men play both ways we might be ready to pull and upset on An L-Ville school in the first round.
I also think it is important to show that Ryle has the record of 2-6 due to the schedule they play all ten teams this season as of today Have a combine record of
44 - 28
Campbell's is:
35 - 39

Campbell Co. gets the win 17-14. Think they will muster just enough offense.
