I expected a big score but not a shut out for Williamsburg.

Williamsburg dominated up front. Chris Helton put on a show. Ford for Pineville only played limited snaps. Noticeable limp after the game. Congrats Burg. Tommie Nguyen had a serious knee injury. Hope to see Tommie up and about soon.
#7
Jenkins up next
#8
Bigger margin than I thought.

Proof ballboy needs to stay out of Daddy's liquor.

Williamsburg looked a little rough offensively in the first quarter, but Shelton had a real nice punt return. Williamsburg looked very good and fast on defense!!! Helton looked unstoppable on defense.

Williamsburg is a different football team than you saw two or three weeks ago; they walk different they look different, they walk around with a sense of confidence I have looked for but have never seen before in a Williamsburg team. We are now ready to compete for the big prize expecting to win and not just hoping for an upset. The Williamsburg crowd is different, and growing with every win.. IT"S FUN COACHING IS EXCELLENT

Pineville wasn''t a bad team sometimes a decient team well coached, and Pineville is that, can and will make you look a little rough. They put new stuff in just designed for you until your coaches and or, players adjust, you look a little rough.

Keep it rolling Yellow Jackets all the way to Bowling Green!

Pineville was without the services of Conner Ford for the majority of the game last night. He is the Lions work horse. He had 22 carries for 95 yards and 4 catches for 73 yards against Hazard. He would not have been the difference but it would have been a better game. Williamsburg's overall team speed overwhelmed Pineville. Ford would close the gap some. But he could not block Helton who blew up about every other play for Pineville. Coach Elam does a good job but had no answers once Ford went down. His team maintained their composure and played hard until the final horn unlike the bunch Williamsburg played last week.

I have said it all year DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE is the different this year team.Lot's of upcoming home coming games next 4 weeks.Jenkins, pineville and THE HAZARD BULLDOGS, and have no ideal after that maybe painstville,Raceland,or Pikeville :welcome: To Williamsburg from 64sur

Defense has never been a problem. They have defended well the past two years, but can they score against a good defense. The last two games against Hazard, they have defended and moved the ball against Hazard but have not scored. Turnovers have been the biggest issue in big games.

Different team Same players.

Tommie Nguyen having surgery on knee today. If you get a chance say a prayer and reach out and let him know you are thinking about him.

Williamsburg still has a lot to prove, but they have put themselves in good position. Williamsburg was without Michael Dillon this week, and they need him to be healthy to make a playoff run. I hated to hear Tommy was seriously injured and pray for a successful surgery.

Hazard comes calling in 3 weeks.

55 tell Hazard they getter buckle their jockey straps real well, Williamsburg is about 35 miles West of Pineville.
#22
The Jackets have got to prove it. Talk is cheap!!!!!
#23
55 knows better than anybody about talk is cheap. He is living vicariously through 55.
#24
Kind of hard to. Freshmen don't get much opportunity at mhs this year. We are senior dominated. But, yes I LOVE to watch my son. He is one of the 6 greatest things in my life. Is that wrong?
#25
Topnotch it is 38 miles to Pineville.

I know this holds no ground, but when Pineville was playing Hazard wasn't the score 28-35 in the 4th? If this is so I don't think Pineville had any positive yards against Williamsburg starting D and with that being said didn't score on there second team D. Votes good for Williamsburg if any of this is true.

It is like I said before. Williamsburg is good defensively and were better than Hazard defensively last year. The problem is Williamsburg's offense is not very diverse and they turn the ball over in crucial moments of the game. This will be the deciding factor of the Hazard vs.Williamsburg game.

Williamsburg has definitely gotten better since we beat them early in the year. Good luck to the Jackets in the playoffs.
