Somerset forces a Middlesboro fumble on 2nd down in overtime and recovers. Will Lange punches it in on 3rd and goal for the win on Somerset's possession. The Jumpers go to Middlesboro and take it from the Jackets 19-13 in overtime.

MBoro kids played their heart out but their coach lost the game. Three decisive plays led to Somerset winning this game. Going for two by Mboro up 13 to 10 instead of getting the point and going out of reach of a field goal. With 4 minutes left they went for it on 4th down on their own 45 yard line and Somerset hadn't had a strong drive all game, why would you not punt? The final is the catch by Will Lange on the series directly after the turnover on downs on 3rd down and long to kick the field goal to send it into over time. Dumb moves by the coach but a great job by Somerset to capitalize. Another 48 minutes for these seniors, congrats and bring back a region to Somerset against Pburg. Jumpers go for the 5th straight region in a row

I didn't get to see it but it sounded like both teams were playing some physical football. Glad to see Somerset commit to running the ball early. I think that made the difference late. It sounded like it wore the Jackets down.

Both teams played Great. Middlesboro play a Great physical football game. Cong: to the Jumpers as they move on to the Regional Title game. Good Luck. Big Shout out to Will Lang he had a Great Game. It's nice to see as he has been injured most of the year.

maybe they suit up at the school and ride to the field{2 or 3 miles to stadium}and some teams get a good game day speech.i think it builds a bond,dont see it as a negative. mboro had a great season and should be proud.

In Middlesboro's defense, the high school IS about 3 miles from the stadium, and they've "bussed" to their home games for as long as I can remember.

That wasn't what the posters was saying at all. He was using it as a slight against Middlesboro fans who kept using the long bus ride excuse when Pikeville put up over 70 points on them. Some of the Middlesboro fans kept saying that Middlesboro was still the better team that it was just the bus ride that caused it.
